New

  • Send forms for e-signature in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App: Before, technicians had to hand their device to customers to collect signatures on forms in the field, which could create friction, hygiene concerns, or customer hesitation. Now, technicians can send standard and PDF forms directly to a customer's email or phone through Visit Assistant. Customers review and sign on their own device, and signed documents are automatically added to the job audit trail. For more, see Use the contactless experience for forms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

Note: Sending estimates for e-signature works the same way it does today through Online Estimates—this part of the workflow is not changing.

RELEASE UPDATE: This feature will go out with the 17.1 release version.

  • Send required job signatures remotely with the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App: Before, technicians had to hand their device to customers to collect required signatures on-site during job closeout. This created hygiene concerns, slowed down the closeout workflow, and made some customers hesitant to sign. Now, technicians can tap the E-Signature icon on any screen displaying required legal text—such as customer authorization or customer acknowledgement—and send a signature request to the customer via email or SMS. Customers sign on their own device through Visit Assistant, and the status updates in near real-time on the technician's app. For more, see Use the contactless experience for required job signatures in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

RELEASE UPDATE: This feature will go out with the 17.1 release version.

  • Review your day and improve performance with Field Pro Day in Review: Before, technicians had no quick, consolidated way to see how their day went once they wrapped up their jobs. There was no in-app summary or a place to view personalized coaching based on how the day actually went. With Field Pro Day in Review, technicians now see a card on the Field Mobile App dashboard each day that opens an engaging summary, celebrates wins, and surfaces targeted training content to help them grow. For more, see:

RELEASE UPDATE: This feature will go out with the 17.1 release version.

  • Manage contracts and track signatures in the Field Mobile App: Previously, field sales representatives created proposals via proposal builder in the Field Mobile. They could only have one proposal in a job. Now, the proposal is rebranded into a contract and there can be multiple contracts on a job. Similar to Proposal Builder, sales reps can still track signature statuses in contract. For more, see Use Contract Builder in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

RELEASE UPDATE: This feature will go out with the 17.1 release version.

  • Generate estimate names and summaries with Titan Intelligence in the Field Mobile App: Before, technicians had to manually type the name and summary for each estimate while in the field. This required extra time during the job and often led to inconsistent or incomplete estimate descriptions. Now, technicians can tap Generate Name and Summary in the estimate details screen to let Titan Intelligence draft the content for them. Technicians can review the results, regenerate if needed, or save the output directly to the estimate. For more, see Generate estimate names and summaries with TI in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

  • Manage equipment media and documents in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App: Previously, technicians had no way to attach media or documents to an equipment record from the field. To document a unit's condition or save a manual, technicians had to rely on their phone's camera roll, a notes app, or other tools outside of ServiceTitan—leaving office teams without visibility into that information. Now, technicians can capture photos and videos, upload files, and view all equipment-related media directly from an equipment record in the Field Mobile App. Everything syncs automatically, so both field and office teams have access to the same up-to-date equipment documentation. For more, see Manage equipment media and files in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

RELEASE UPDATE: This feature will go out with the 17.1 release version.

  • Add serialized items to invoices in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App: Previously, technicians using the Field Mobile App could add serialized items to invoices without being prompted to enter a serial number. This meant serial numbers had to be assigned later in the office, creating extra steps and the risk of inventory mismatches. Now, when a technician adds a pricebook item marked as tracked by serial number, the app prompts them to select or enter the correct serial number before saving the item. For items already stocked on the truck, this works without an internet connection. For items not on the truck, a pricebook search is available when connected. For more, see:

Improvements

  • Reply to customers directly from the Field Mobile App with Two-Way Chat: Technicians using the Field Mobile App could already view incoming SMS text messages from customers in the messaging view, but could not reply. To respond, technicians had to call the customer directly or rely on the office to follow up. With this improvement, technicians can type and send a reply directly from the Field Mobile App. Messages appear in the same conversation thread and are visible to office staff in the Message Center, keeping all communication in one place. For more, see:

RELEASE UPDATE: This feature will go out with the 17.1 release version.

  • Improve the technician experience with Field Mobile App enhancements: ServiceTitan updated several Field Mobile App workflows to help you complete work faster and with fewer errors. Changes include:
