Create estimates in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

Overview

While you're on a job, you can build estimates from a proposal template, build custom estimates, and duplicate existing estimates. This allows you to present options to the customer before completing the job.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .

  • The Field Mobile App is optimized for iOS, iPadOS, and Android phones and tablets. For more, see System requirements and mobile app information.

  • If you're using the Field Mobile App and need support, please contact (through the office) or reach out directly to support@servicetitan.com.

  • The following permissions are required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

    • Create Estimate: Create and duplicate estimates.

    • Add Estimate and Invoice Item: Add items to estimates.

    • View Total Price and View item prices: View total and item prices on estimates.

Things to know

Create an estimate from a proposal template in the Field Mobile App

Note: Office setup is required to use proposal templates. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

To add estimate options from a proposal template:

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.

  2. If there are no estimates on the job, tap Add estimates from template.Screen displaying no estimates, with options to add estimates from template or custom.

  3. If there are existing estimates on the job, tap From Template.User interface displaying proposal options and pricing for duct cleaning services.

  4. On the screen that opens, select the template you want to use.

    Tip: After you select a template, you can see each included estimate option, price, and label.

Build a custom estimate in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.

  2. If there are no estimates on the job, tap Add custom estimate.

  3. If there are existing estimates on the job, tap Custom Estimate.

  4. On the screen that opens, add one or more items to the estimate.

  5. As you add items, they appear on the screen. When finished, tap Back to finish adding the estimate.

    Note: If you’re building an estimate on a tablet, you can rearrange items quickly by long pressing and dragging them.

Duplicate an already built estimate in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.

  2. Tap the Copy icon next to the estimate you want to duplicate.

  3. On the window that opens, tap Duplicate Estimate.Prompt to duplicate an estimate in a proposal with options to confirm or cancel.This copies everything within the selected estimate and displays the estimate form.
