Overview
Use the pricebook in the Field Mobile App when you need to add items to an estimate or invoice. In Pricebook, you can manage services, equipment, and materials. This allows you to easily find and sell items to customers.

Things to know
The first time you install or reinstall the Field Mobile App, your pricebook downloads after selecting if you want to allow notifications. You must be online and keep the screen open for the download to complete.
Tip: We recommend that you ensure you're in an area with good internet connection when your pricebook is downloading.

The pricebook periodically syncs with the office automatically when you're online. If you skip the pricebook download experience, banners inform you that pricebook items and media are still downloading. To check the status, go to Menu
> Update Pricebook
.To update your pricebook manually, ensure you have a strong internet connection then go to Menu
> Update Pricebook

When adding a pricebook item to an estimate or invoice, browse the list or search to find the name of the category, subcategory, or specific item you want. You can also sort the categories or subcategories by name.
Note: Office setup is required to see and use categories and subcategories.
If needed, you can enter negative quantities when adding items from the pricebook to an estimate or invoice. This allows you to handle credits, corrections, and returns without leaving the app.
Coming soon to Field Mobile App Release 19.0: When you add pricebook items to an estimate or invoice, a checkmark confirmation and animation of the item moving into a cart appears. This helps you move quickly without second-guessing whether items were captured.
Access Pricebook in the Field Mobile App
There are two ways to open the pricebook:
Method 1
Open your job and tap the Invoice tab.

Go to the Invoice Items section.
If no invoice items are listed:
Tap Add.

The Add Items screen opens, which brings you to the pricebook.
If invoice items are listed:
Tap View.

On the screen that opens, tap Add Items.
The Add Items screen opens, which brings you to the pricebook.
Method 2
Note: Dispatch and arrive at the job to use this option.
On the Job Details screen, tap Add and select Invoice Item.

Add services to invoice items in the Field Mobile App
On the Add Items screen, you can add service items to the invoice:
Tap the Services tab.
Find and tap the category you want.
If there are subcategories, find and tap the subcategory you want.
Find and tap the service you want to open. You can:
Update the price
Update the description
Select if the item is taxable

Change the quantity of the service
When finished, tap Add > Add to Invoice.
Add equipment to invoice items in the Field Mobile App
On the Add Items screen, you can add equipment items to the invoice:
Tap the Equipment tab.
Find and tap the category you want.
If there are subcategories, find and tap the subcategory you want.
Find and tap the equipment you want to open it. You can:
Update the cost
Update the price
Update the description
Select if the item is taxable
Note: Permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Update equipment details, such as date of installation, brand, manufacturer, model number, serial number, manufacturer warranty date, and service warranty date.
Change the quantity of the equipment

When finished, tap Add > Add to Invoice.
Add materials to invoice items in the Field Mobile App
Note: Permissions are required to add or edit material items. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
On the Add Items screen, you can add material items to the invoice:
Tap the Materials tab.
Find and tap the category you want.
If there are subcategories, find and tap the subcategory you want.
Find and tap the material you want to open it. You can:
Update the cost
Update the price
Enable or disable the Charge for material toggle
Update the description
Select if the item is taxable

Change the quantity of the material
Mark as an Add On to drive add-on price levels

When finished, tap Add > Add to Invoice.
Add multiple services, equipment, or materials to invoice items in the Field Mobile App
You can use the pricebook to add multiple services, equipment, and materials to the job invoice:
On the Add Items screen, search for an item, open the category or subcategory if needed, and then tap Add. Repeat this for each item you want to add.
After you've added everything, tap View items.
If needed, change the price and quantity for each item.
When finished, tap Add to Invoice.

Calculate prices in the Field Mobile App
Note: Your administrator can set different pricing options based on your account configuration. Dynamic pricing and client-specific pricing apply to items by default. For more, see Dynamic Pricing Overview and Client specific pricing: overview and setup.
On the Add Items screen, search for and select a service, equipment, or material.
Tap Add > Add to Invoice.
On the Invoice tab that opens, tap View next to Invoice Items.
Tap Calculate.
Note: Check to make sure dynamic pricing was applied.

Tip: You can also calculate prices from estimates.

And when you're viewing invoice or estimate items, you can tap See Total Cost to view the total cost of materials and equipment.

Edit invoice items in the Field Mobile App
On the Job Details screen, scroll over and tap the Invoice tab.
Go to the Invoice Items section and tap View.
Tap the invoice item you want to edit.
Make your changes and then tap Update.
