Configure day in review notifications for technicians in Field Pro

Overview

Day in Review sends technicians an end-of-day summary of their completed jobs in Field Pro. The summary highlights wins and opportunities from the workday to help technicians reflect on performance.

You can set a default day in review time or personalize it for individual technicians.

Feature configuration

  • This feature is currently in Private Preview and available for specific accounts. It is subject to change.

Things to know

  • When you change the time for an individual technician, it overrides the general setting.

Best practices

  • Choose a day in review time that aligns with when most technicians finish their last job for the day.

  • Use individual day end times for technicians or teams that work different shifts or operate in different time zones.

  • Review your day in review configuration when schedules or seasonal working hours change to keep notifications meaningful.

Use cases

  • A technician finishes the day and receives a day in review notification at their configured time, highlighting wins and opportunities based on job data.

Set a default day in review time

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, go to Field Pro > Settings.

  3. On the Field Pro Settings screen that opens, click Day End Time and choose the time when technicians with Field Pro enabled receive day in review notifications.

Set a day in review time for individual technicians

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, go to Field Pro > Settings.

  3. On the Field Pro Settings screen that opens, click the Technicians tab. Field Pro Settings menu highlighting the Technicians tab for user navigation.

  4. Find the technician you want to update and click Edit .    

    Tip: Use filters or search to quickly find the technician. For more, see Filter technicians in the table.

  5. On the Edit Technician pop-up that opens, in the Day in Review section, click Day End Time and choose the time. Settings for technician, including recording controls and end time options.

  6. Select Disable Notifications to prevent technicians from receiving Day in Review email and push notifications. Settings interface showing options to set end time and disable notifications.        

    Note: This applies only to technicians who use Field Mobile App.

  7. When finished, click Save.
