  • Collect contactless card payments in the field with TSYS Tap-to-Pay in the Field Mobile App so you get paid on the spot: Before, technicians using Total System Services (TSYS) in the field had to rely on a separate card reader or manually key in card details to collect payment. This slowed down checkout and could stop payment collection if a card reader was missing, low on battery, or not paired. With TSYS Tap-to-Pay, technicians can take a contactless card or digital wallet payment directly on a supported mobile device through near field communication (NFC). You can choose when and where to roll out Tap-to-Pay across your business units. For more, see:

  • Use Mobile Remote Deposit Capture to accept check deposits in the Field Mobile App: Before this feature, technicians had to manually enter checks through ACH or only record check payments in the Field Mobile App, which meant office employees handled the paper check and bank deposit separately. This could lead to backend failures and confusing payment status in ServiceTitan. Now technicians can choose a Check (Mobile Deposit) payment type, capture front and back images of a check using Mobile Remote Deposit Capture (MRDC), and send it for automated clearing house (ACH) processing without leaving the job. ServiceTitan returns clear success or failure messages, handles offline cases as Pending, and keeps invoice totals aligned with real payment status. For more, see:

  • Protect your pricing with Sales Margin Enforcement to stop low-margin estimates before they are sold: Before, technicians in the Field Mobile App could apply deep discounts and still share or present estimates that fell below your target margin. Now, ServiceTitan calculates margin in real time on the device, even when offline, and compares it to your global or role-based limits. When an estimate is non-compliant, the app shows a warning icon you can tap that then shows the exact dollar shortfall so the technician knows how far off the target they are. When a technician tries to share or present estimates, a Review Estimates soft-block modal appears for any non-compliant estimates and requires a clear opt-in before they can be shared.

Note: When offline, the Field Mobile App does not use dynamic prices from the pricebook. You must be online to use dynamic pricing.

  • View technician performance with Mobile Scorecard in the Field Mobile App: Before, technicians using the Field Mobile App had to ask office staff or managers to share performance reports or wait for meetings to see how they were doing. Now, technicians can access their scorecard directly from the Menu screen in the Field Mobile App. This allows technicians to view their own performance by date range and division. The scorecard shows metrics such as close rate and revenue averages. There are no new settings pages or permissions to manage, and the feature works with your existing mobile configuration. For more, see: Use the mobile scorecard in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

  • Capture daily job progress with technician work performed logs and work summaries: Work performed logs and work summaries are now generally available. Previously, technicians had to use one shared invoice summary field to document work across multiple days and appointments. This often led to overwritten notes and billing delays. Now, each technician can log daily work performed for each appointment. These entries show up in a feed, and technicians or office staff can consolidate them into a work summary field for billing and documentation. For more, see:

  • Streamline safety and fleet compliance with Technician Forms: Before, technicians could only see and complete forms from inside a job, so weekly safety checks and end-of-day inspections had to live on fake jobs. Office teams created and managed these placeholder jobs on the Dispatch Board and relied on separate tools or paper to prove that forms were completed. With Technician Forms (non-job forms), technicians see assigned technician-level forms in a new My Forms screen in the Field Mobile App and on linked non-job event cards such as Truck Inspection or Safety Meeting. There are no new settings or permissions to manage, so you track compliance in ServiceTitan without cluttering the Dispatch Board or inflating job counts. For more, see:

  • Control technician job recording actions in the Field Mobile App with updated Field Pro settings: Before, any Field Pro technician who could start job recording also had full access to cancel, pause, and stop actions in the Field Mobile App, with no way for the office to limit those controls. Now, there are new settings in Field Pro desktop that control what technicians see in the mobile experience: Disable Recording Cancellation, Disable Recording Stop, and Disable Recording Pause. When you turn these settings on for a technician, the matching controls in the Field Mobile App are disabled and greyed out, even when the technician works offline. This helps you reduce misuse of recording actions and keep job recording behavior consistent across your team.

Note: This improvement is only for accounts that use both Field Pro and the Field Mobile App.

  • Strengthen proposals with tablet optimizations for estimates to improve clarity and close more work with the Field Mobile App: Previously, a blank estimate summary in tablet view left a large empty space during the presentation, and technicians could not reorder line items from the build view. Now, when the summary is blank, the estimate shows an auto-generated bulleted list of item names in line-item order so the proposal still tells a clear story. Pricebook descriptions keep formatting such as bold text and bullet lists so what technicians see on the tablet matches what office employees set up. Technicians can also move estimate line items up or down in the build view, and media thumbnails and viewers are more reliable during live walk-throughs. For more, see:

  • Connect technician notes to billing with Work Summaries as an additional source for invoice summaries: Before, technicians could not pass Work Summary text into the Invoice Summary flow, so Titan Intelligence (TI) relied only on job details, forms, and other data. Now, the Invoice Summary generation screen includes Work Summary under Include Additional Data. When you select this option, ServiceTitan sends the most recently saved Work Summary from the appointment into Titan Intelligence during Invoice Summary generation. You choose when to include Work Summary on each invoice, so your team keeps control over how much detail appears in the client-facing summary. For more, see:

  • Update Project Statuses from the Field Mobile App to keep office and field teams aligned: Previously, field staff had to call or email the office to update the status of a construction project. Now, they can view and change the status directly from the Project Details screen in the app. This allows the office to see progress in real time without manual data entry. For more, see:
