New

  • Get push notification message alerts for @mention messages from the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App: Before, technicians had no way to receive real-time alerts for @mention messages from the office or other technicians. To stay informed, technicians had to open the Field Mobile App and navigate to the message center manually to check for new activity. Now, the Field Mobile App now delivers instant push notifications to a technician's device. Tapping the notification takes the technician directly to the relevant conversation—no manual navigation required. For more, see View and send messages in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

Improvements

  • Capture job-site recordings in the dedicated Field Pro app from the Field Mobile App: Recording in the Field Mobile App previously ran through an embedded recording tool inside the app. The Field Mobile App now automatically opens the standalone Field Pro app when you arrive at a job. Recording starts at arrival and stops when you close out. The job view in the Field Mobile App no longer shows recording banners or consent prompts. For more, see For more, see Capture job-site recordings with the Field Pro app from the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

Note: This feature is currently in Limited Release and available on request. It is subject to change. To enable this feature for your account, reach out to your Pro Product Specialist (PPS).

  • View and manage a consolidated project invoice in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App: Previously, technicians in the Field Mobile App could only view and act on invoices at the individual job level. There was no way to see or manage a consolidated invoice across all jobs tied to a project from the mobile app. Now, technicians with the Edit Project Invoice permission can open a single project invoice that rolls up line items and totals across every job in the project. From that view, they can collect a project-level acknowledgement signature, process payment, and share the invoice via email, print, or present. When printing or presenting, ServiceTitan uses the template configured in Document Template Manager — or falls back to the default template if none is configured. For more, see View and manage a consolidated project invoice in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

RELEASE UPDATE:This feature will go out with the 17.13release version.

  • Improve the technician experience with Field Mobile App enhancements: ServiceTitan updated several Field Mobile App workflows to help you complete work faster and with fewer errors. Changes include:

    • [Android & iOS] The Add Estimate button is now always visible on the Estimates tab, regardless of how many estimates already exist, making it easier to present multiple options to a customer without interrupting the flow of a visit.

    • [iOS] Customers' signatures stay private: signatures are captured in the moment and never stored on the device, so sensitive customer data isn't left behind after a visit.

    • [iOS] Technicians can no longer close a job if required forms haven't been completed, preventing compliance gaps and missed documentation.

    • [iOS] Creating estimates and forms on a job now produces clean, accurate entries: no more duplicates cluttering the list.

    • [iOS] Tapping Complete Job now reliably registers on the first attempt and no longer reverts the job status back to Working.

    • [iOS] The Unable to update status connectivity warning now clears automatically when a device comes back online.

    • [iOS] Prices now correctly reflect a customer's chosen configuration for configurable variants on Estimates and Invoices—no manual corrections needed when a customer selects a different material or equipment option.

    • [iOS] The price field at the project invoice level is no longer editable in the field, preventing accidental changes to project billing.

    • [Android] Payment splits processed through NMI are now recorded accurately, preventing reconciliation issues for the back office.

    • [Android] Technicians can now see and access all assigned jobs, even if the associated job type has since been deactivated.

    • [Android] Media captured while offline is now accessible and plays back correctly once the device is back online. This means nothing is lost between the job site and the office.

    • [Android] Check payment capture via MiSnap is now smoother—the app no longer crashes on device rotation, and check amounts written with a marker are recognized correctly.
