Add technician forms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

Overview

When your office creates and triggers technician forms, they'll show up in the Field Mobile App for you to fill out. This allows you to complete non-job related tasks, such as safety meeting forms, truck inspection forms, and so on.

Things to know

  • Forms appear on non-job events based on triggers set in office settings. If you don't see an expected form, contact your office administrator. All technician forms are accessible in My Forms.

  • Forms automatically link to matching non-job events on your schedule based on timesheet codes configured in office settings.

  • You can complete forms offline and they will sync when you reconnect.

  • Completed technician forms sync to the office immediately and are visible to administrators and managers.

Best practices

  • Check My Forms at the start of each day to see what needs completion.

  • Complete forms linked to non-job events directly from your schedule for faster tracking.

  • Use the status indicators—Incomplete and Complete—to track which forms still need attention.

  • Complete safety meeting forms immediately after the meeting while details are fresh.

  • Submit truck inspection forms at the end of your shift before signing off for accurate daily records.

Use cases

  • As an HVAC technician, you need to complete a daily truck inspection, so you access My Forms at the end of your shift, complete the inspection checklist, and submit it for compliance tracking.

  • A service manager requires all technicians to attend weekly safety meetings, so they link safety meeting forms to recurring non-job events, ensuring technicians complete forms immediately after each meeting.

  • A field supervisor tracks equipment maintenance, so they assign equipment inspection forms to technicians through My Forms, enabling consistent documentation without creating fake jobs.

Access technician forms from a non-job event in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

  1. Open the Field Mobile App.

  2. In your main jobs list for the day, locate the non-job event that needs an incomplete form filled out.

  3. Tap the form to open it, or tap Show All Forms if there are multiple forms. Job details for Cooling Tune Up and Vehicle Check-In status overview.

  4. Fill out all required fields on the incomplete form that opens. When finished:

    1. Tap Save to save your progress and finish it later.

    2. Tap Complete to finish the form and send it to your office.

Access technician forms from the Menu screen in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

  1. Open the Field Mobile App and tap Menu .

  2. On the Menu screen that opens, tap My Forms Menu screen showing user shortcuts and options for managing tasks and forms.

  3. On the My Forms screen that opens, tap an incomplete form to open it.

    Note: Your 10 most recently completed forms appear with the ability to load more.

  4. Fill out all required fields on the incomplete form that opens. When finished, choose one of the following options:

    • Tap Save to save your progress and finish it later.

    • Tap Complete to finish the form and send it to your office.

Add a technician form in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

  1. Open the Field Mobile App and tap Menu .

  2. On the Menu screen that opens, tap My Forms .

  3. On the My Forms screen that opens, tap Add FormList of forms showing completed and incomplete statuses with an option to add a form.A list of technician forms created by your office appears.

  4. Select the form you want to add.

  5. Fill out the form then Save or Complete it.
