Project statuses help you identify which stage a project is in at a given time.

Things to know

  • You can search for projects by status on the search screen.

  • You can search, filter, and group projects by status in the Reporting section and in Project Portfolio.

View project statuses

There are several default statuses for projects. To view project statuses:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, go to Operations > Project Statuses.

Default Project Statuses include:

  • Bid: Used throughout the project's sales cycle.

  • Pending Scheduling: Used after the project's sales cycle, before jobs are booked for the project. For example, when waiting on parts or permits.

  • Scheduled: Used after jobs have been scheduled for the project.

  • Canceled: Used if the project has been canceled, or will not proceed.

  • In Progress: Used after at least one job is in progress.

  • Completed: Used when the project is complete.

  • Hold: Used if the project is paused, on hold, or delayed.

You can add custom sub-statuses to each default project status to align with your project workflows. For more, see add custom project sub-statuses.
