Find and open projects faster with Projects Search in the Field Mobile App: Before, technicians had no direct way to search for projects in the Field Mobile App. Now, you can tap Projects in the main navigation to view your five most recently opened projects or search by name, number, location, customer, or manager. If you're offline, cached near-term projects are available. This helps you start work faster, like adding timesheets or viewing project details. For more, see:
Collect deposits on sold estimates to improve invoice accuracy and reduce office workload: Before, when technicians sold an estimate for future work, they couldn't collect a deposit in the Field Mobile App. Any deposit had to be collected separately and recorded as a general credit. This caused extra work in the office to apply that credit manually. Now, technicians can collect a deposit right from the estimate. The deposit carries over to the follow-up job, making sure the right balance shows on the final invoice. For more, see:
Improvements
Access company videos and documents in the field with the Content Portal: Before, technicians could not access office-uploaded content like training videos or documents from the Field Mobile App. Now, the Content Portal brings those resources into the app—available online, and tailored to technician assignments. Office uploads like videos, documents, and links appear in the Content Portal, and technicians can pull to refresh to see the latest content. For more, see Use Content Portal in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
Process check payments through ACH in the field: Technicians can now enter ACH check details and process payments with them right in the Field Mobile App. The technician taps a payment type marked for ACH, then adds the check details, such as name, routing number, and account number. The payment goes into a pending state, with updates shown as it's accepted or denied. Before this, technicians couldn't manually process checks in the field. This improvement supports check collection workflows and helps businesses transition from paper to digital faster. For more, see Process check payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
Manage opportunity follow-ups with an enhanced interface: Before, technicians using the Opportunities tab in the Field Mobile App couldn't edit estimates natively or view job details without help from the office. Now, technicians can deep-link to job details and edit estimates directly in the app. They also gain access to an audit trail, giving more context around activity history. This improvement supports better opportunity management in the field and faster follow-up conversions. For more, see:
Present estimates side-by-side with new tablet view improvements: Before, technicians used the Present Proposal screen to show estimates, but the layout only showed one estimate at a time, limiting how customers could compare options. Now, when there are multiple estimates, the landscape and portrait layouts show up to three at once. The new layout highlights estimate summaries, pricing that includes financing, and key indicators like media and equipment findings, making it easier to review options during the job. Technicians have more control over presentation, including the ability to select the primary thumbnail image for each estimate. For more, see Present and sell estimates in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
The Account tab is now called Menu and has an updated icon, for clearer navigation: The Menu
tab replaces the Account
tab. It contains the same shortcuts, settings, and account tools, in addition to the new Content Portal. Before, the Account tab name wasn't as clear, making it difficult to know what it was for. Now, it's easier to see at a glance that the Menu tab is your go-to screen for anything you need to do outside of jobs, timekeeping, and messages. For more, see Explore the main layout of the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
