Overview
When a project includes multiple jobs, you can view a single consolidated invoice that combines all chargeable items across those jobs in the Field Mobile App. From the project invoice, you can review line items and the total balance due, collect a project acknowledgement signature, process a payment, and share the invoice with the customer.
This helps field teams communicate costs clearly and collect payment on-site, without having to navigate multiple job-level invoices.

Things to know
To collect payment from the project invoice, you must be clocked into a job on the project. For more, see Track your time and work.
Note: You do not need to be clocked in to collect payment from an individual job invoice.
If your office has configured a Project Invoice template in Template Manager, that template is used when printing or presenting. Otherwise, the system default template is used.
The project invoice requires an active internet connection. For offline invoice access, open the individual job invoices tied to the project instead.
Editing line items, sending SMS and email payment links, and processing financing payments are not supported from the project invoice. To complete these actions, open the individual job invoices tied to the project.
If the Bill To customer on a job invoice does not match the Bill To customer on the project, payment collection for that job invoice is disabled in the Field Mobile App.
Best practices
Review the consolidated invoice with your customer before collecting a signature or payment to ensure all line items are accurate.
If the customer wants a copy of the invoice, use Email to send it directly.
Note: When offline, emails are queued and sent when you're back online.
Collect the project acknowledgement signature before processing payment to confirm the customer agrees to the total charges.
Use cases
As a technician on a multi-job residential remodel, you open the project invoice to show the customer a summary of all work completed across every job, then collect their signature and process payment on the spot.
As a technician nearing the end of a project, you email the consolidated invoice to the customer so they can review their balance before your final visit.
As a technician without a cell signal, you collect the project acknowledgement signature and queue the invoice email—it sends automatically when you're back online.
As a roofing sales representative, you open the project invoice to collect final payment and signatures from the customer after completing the post-install inspection.
