Present or email an invoice in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

Overview

While on a job, you can present or email a copy of an invoice to a customer. Presenting or emailing an invoice streamlines the payment process by allowing on-the-spot billing and faster customer payments.

Feature configuration

  • The Field Mobile App is optimized for iOS, iPadOS, and Android phones and tablets. For more, see System requirements and mobile app information.

  • If you're using the Field Mobile App and need support, please contact (through the office) or reach out directly to support@servicetitan.com.

  • The Send emails from technician email address permission is required to email invoices to customers. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

Things to know

  • Some businesses let you handle correspondence with customers and use their business email to send customer invoices.

  • You can only email an invoice for a job to which you are assigned and that is currently marked as Arrived.

  • The names of certain screens, tabs, and so on may be different based on your selection in Menu > Settings. For more, see Show Residential or Commercial terms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

Present an invoice to the customer in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open the job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Work Summary tab.

  2. Scroll to the Share Invoice (Residential) or Share Work Order (Commercial) section and tap Present.User interface showing work order sharing options and invoice summary details.

Email an invoice to the customer in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open the job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Work Summary tab.

  2. Scroll to the Share Invoice (Residential) or Share Work Order (Commercial) section and tap Email.

  3. If you want the customer to receive the email from your email address, select Send from my email.

    Note: The Send emails from technician email address permission is needed to use this function.

  4. Tap Add contacts to select the email addresses you want to send the invoice to.

    Tip: Select Add new contact to add additional email addresses.

  5. Go back to the Email payment link screen.

  6. (Optional) Attach estimates, forms, and media.

  7. When finished, tap Send.
