Things to know
The calendar shows your scheduled jobs and non-job events with color-coded indicators so you can quickly distinguish between item types.
Free time slots appear as gaps in the Day view.
The calendar caches your schedule for seven days before and after the current date. Actions you take while offline are queued and sync automatically when you reconnect.
Items that have not synced yet show a visual badge, so you know which changes are still pending.
Rescheduling includes real-time conflict detection. If the new time overlaps with another item, you're alerted before you confirm.
Best practices
Check your calendar at the start of each day to plan your route and identify open time slots.
Use the Day view for detailed scheduling and the Month view for a high-level look at your upcoming workload.
When a customer asks about your availability, switch to Day view to quickly find your next free slot and book the follow-up on the spot.
Create non-job events for lunch breaks, training, and personal time to keep your schedule accurate and help dispatch avoid scheduling conflicts.
Use cases
A customer calls and asks when you can return for a follow-up. Open the calendar, find a 2-hour gap between your afternoon jobs, and book a job.
You want to block off time for a lunch break. Open the calendar, create a non-job event, and the time block appears on your calendar. Dispatch can see the block and avoids scheduling over it.
Your afternoon job finishes early and you want to move your next appointment up. Tap the job, select reschedule, choose the new time, and confirm.
