In order to use Fleet Pro, you must first install GPS trackers in your vehicles that provide necessary data for the LiveMap, Alerts, and more. Best practices
Prevent downstream issues for your fleet by:
Writing down the serial number for each of the devices you’ve received and the corresponding truck that the devices have been connected to.
Ensuring that all editable data fields for Drivers and Vehicles are filled in as soon as possible.
Drivers and vehicles are primarily what generates the data you’ll be utilizing in Fleet Pro. Drivers are technicians that have been assigned vehicles, also known as Trucks in ServiceTitan.
Step 1: Set up drivers
To use Fleet Pro, assign technicians as drivers. This ensures your technicians appear in the Assigned Driver dropdown when you’re setting up vehicles under Vehicle Data.
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to People > Technicians.
Click Edit for the technician you want to assign as a driver.
From the Profile screen, click Enable Fleet Pro Driver.

When finished, click Save Changes.
Repeat steps 1-5 for each technician you want to assign as a driver.
Step 2: Set up vehicles
Every vehicle in your fleet must be created first as a truck in ServiceTitan. Doing so ensures the vehicle appears under Vehicle Data.
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.From the side menu, select Inventory or Purchasing > Trucks & Warehouses.
In the Trucks tab, click Create Truck.

In the Create a New Truck form that opens, enter the information about the truck.
When finished, click Save.

Step 3: Match hardware to your vehicles and drivers
After you’ve installed your hardware, you need to match them to your vehicles and drivers in ServiceTitan. You can not proceed with setting up the rest of Fleet Pro until you have at least one device in Fleet Data > Vehicle Data or Asset Data.
If you installed cameras or Plug-and-Play GPS Trackers in your vehicles:
To access Fleet Pro, go to the navigation bar and click Fleet Pro
. Go to the Vehicle Data screen. There should be a list of 10 digit numbers in the Vehicle Name column which represent the serial numbers of your installed devices.
Click one of the serial numbers listed under the Vehicle Name column.

Note: At this point, you need to reference the notes you recorded regarding which device was installed in which vehicle.
On the Vehicle Details screen that opens, click the Assigned Vehicle dropdown. This selection pairs the device data with the truck you’ve specified.
Note: Trucks in this list are pulled from Settings
> Trucks & Warehouses. If you don’t see a truck that you need to pair with a device, you can add it there.Click the Assigned Driver dropdown and assign a driver to the vehicle you chose in step 3.

Click the Assigned Camera dropdown and assign a camera. Cameras are listed by their serial numbers.
Review and fill out the editable fields in the Vehicle Data section. These details are necessary to use alerts and events in Fleet Pro.
When finished, click Save.
Repeat steps 1–8 for the rest of your installed devices.
If you installed Asset Trackers in your assets:
To access Fleet Pro, go to the navigation bar and click Fleet Pro
.Go to the Asset Data screen. There should be a list of 10 digit numbers in the GPS Device Serial # column which represents the serial numbers of your installed devices.

Click one of the serial numbers listed under the Asset Name column.
On the Asset Details screen that opens, click the Asset Name to assign a name to the Asset. This will be the name that appears on the Live Map.

When finished, click Save.
Repeat steps 1–5 for the rest of your installed devices.
Step 4: Edit Driver Details
Driver Data is a repository for the technicians' data assigned to the vehicles in your system in addition to information about their driving score. It’s important for reports and alerts that this data is present and accurate.
The Driver Data tab includes:
Automatically generated data: Information about the Driver, Vehicle Name, Status, Role, and Email address of the driver. You can’t update or remove this information. Note: The driver’s Status field shows the status of the driver’s records. This can be:
Current: If all data is up to date
Attention: If one or more records will expire within the next 30 days
Past Due: If one or more records expired
Manually added and updated data: Information about the Driver's License Number, DL (driver's license) Date of issue, and more.
To ensure each driver’s data is accurate:
In the Driver Data table, find the driver record you want to view and click the Driver.
Find the field you want to add information to, hover over it, and click Edit
.Enter the information and click Save.

Tip: To delete information, click Delete.
When you’re done, click Save.
Note: You cannot add or update automatically generated data in the Driver Data tab.
Repeat steps 1-4 for each driver.
Now that you’ve set up your drivers and vehicles, you can go to Fleet Pro Onboarding Part 2: Enable Fleet Pro Permissions for employees.
