Fleet Pro Onboarding Part 2: Enable Fleet Pro Permissions for employees

Overview

Now that your drivers and vehicles are set up, you can now provide your office employees access to Fleet Pro with permissions. Office employees can use Fleet Pro to track drivers’ locations and habits, re-assign vehicles when necessary, receive alerts, and more.

  • To get started with Fleet Pro, request a demo by clicking Get Started on our Pro Products page, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Pro Account Manager.

Allow access to Fleet Pro

In order for office employees to use Fleet Pro and be eligible for email alerts and geofencing notifications, you need to enable access on their employee profiles.

To allow access to Fleet Pro in ServiceTitan: 

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings .

  2. In the side panel, go to People > Employees

  3. Click Edit for the employee you want to allow access to Fleet Pro.

  4. Go to Permissions and search for Fleet Pro.

  5. Ensure that View Fleet Pro is checked.

  6. Enable or disable the following permissions to fully customize how much of Fleet Pro you want this employee to have access to:

    • View Live Map page

    • View and manage vehicle data

    • View and manage asset data

    • View and manage driver data

    • View and manage camera data

    • View and manage event report

    • View and manage all reports

    • View and manage maintenance reminders

    • View and manage alerts

    • View and manage groups

    • View and manage geofences

  7. When finished, click Save Changes.

To make office employees eligible for email alerts and geofencing notifications: 

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings .

  2. In the side panel, go to People > Employees

  3. Click Edit for the employee you want to allow access to Fleet Pro.

  4. From the Profile screen, click Enable Fleet Pro Access.

    Now that you’ve enabled access for your office employees, you can go to Fleet Pro Onboarding Part 3: Set up Speeding and Posted Speed Limit alerts.
