Problem
When trying to email an invoice, an application error occurs in ServiceTitan.
Solution
There are multiple ways to resolve this error. You can:
Check for corrupted files
Check the customer notification preferences
Clear your browser cache
Go into incognito or private browsing mode
Check for corrupted files
Go to the job associated with the invoice.
Check to see if there are any corrupted files attached to the job by clicking into the customer profile and selecting the Attachments section on the bottom left.
If there are corrupted files, click on the trash can icon to the right of the attachments to delete them.
Try to email the invoice again.
Check the customer notification preferences
Go to the customer profile.
Click on the edit icon next to their name.
Scroll down to the section Invoice and Statement Delivery.
If not already checked, check the box next to Email.
When finished, click Save.
Try to email the invoice again.
Clear your browser cache
After clearing your browser cache, log out and log back in ServiceTitan.
Google Chrome
Clear your Google Chrome browser cache by going to Chrome > More > More tools > Clear browsing data. Next, select the top 4 checkboxes. This will not delete any of your saved passwords.
Safari
To clear Safari's cache on a Mac, open Safari, go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy, and click Manage Website Data. Then, select the sites you want to clear or click "Remove All" to clear the entire cache.
Go into incognito or private browsing mode
Google Chrome
In Chrome, click More
> New Incognito window. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + N.
Safari
To open a private browsing window in Safari on a Mac, navigate to File > New Private Window in the Safari menu bar. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Shift + ⌘ + N.
