Overview
When you set up Wells Fargo® Financing options in ServiceTitan, technicians and office employees can offer financing to customers by emailing them a link to their estimates in an online portal. Customers can see if they pre-qualify and apply for a Wells Fargo® loan directly from the portal. If you also have a second-look financing partner enabled, the customer's pre-qualification is submitted to Wells Fargo and the second-look partner at the same time, so a Wells Fargo decline doesn't mean starting over - The customer's second-look result is presented as part of the same outcome, with no separate application needed.
Who uses this feature
Back office employees. Applies to all business types.
Feature configuration
Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.
Before using this feature
Before using this feature, you first need to:
Set up online estimates. You can customize your Invoice email template to include the {OnlineEstimateLink} text.
Set up Wells Fargo Financing in ServiceTitan. You can set up your accounts and create default and custom financing rules for the plans you want to offer customers.
If you want a Wells Fargo decline to automatically include a second-look result, set up your second-look financing integration as well (currently TURNS; additional second-look partners are expected in the future). Second-look financing is optional - Without it, a declined customer sees only the Wells Fargo outcome.
Enable Wells Fargo® in Online Estimates
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, click Integrations > Financing.
Click the Settings tab.
From the Preferred Provider dropdown, select WellsFargo.
Under Second-Look Provider, select a second-look partner (currently Turns) from the dropdown if you want customers Wells Fargo declines to be automatically evaluated by a second-look partner.
Under Presentation, select Allow customers to apply for financing through online estimates.
From the Online Estimates Provider dropdown that appears, select WellsFargo.

Click Save.
Wells Fargo® financing is now automatically included on all estimates accessed through the Online Estimates Portal. If a Second-Look Provider is also configured on the account, it's automatically included as a second-look option on the same estimates.
Invite customers to complete the Wells Fargo® application
You can invite customers to complete a Wells Fargo® application by emailing them a link to view their estimates online, which can be done from both the mobile and office versions of ServiceTitan. For more information, see Use Online Estimates.
Online estimates workflow for Wells Fargo® financing
When a customer opens an online Estimate, they can review Good/Better/Best proposal options and apply for Wells Fargo® financing directly from the Online Estimates Portal. Each proposal
option that qualifies for financing shows an estimated or suggested monthly payment, a See If You Pre-qualify link, a Financing Terms link next to the Wells Fargo logo, a View button, and a Sign & Accept Estimate button (disabled once that proposal has already been accepted).

Step 1: See If You Pre-qualify (soft credit check)
Select a Plan - The Desired Financed Amount is pre-filled from the proposal total (editable via the pencil icon). The customer chooses among the available plans, for example: "Lowest Payment / 0% APR" (equal monthly Payments for a set term) or "Deferred Interest" (a low minimum payment with a higher suggested payment, no interest if paid in full within the promotional period - e.g. 6 or 18 months). Each plan card shows Min. Payment (and Sugg. Payment for Deferred Interest plans), Max APR, Description, and a View Terms link. The customer clicks Select Plan.

Select a way to apply - A modal appears: "Not sure which to choose? Start with pre-qualifying to see your options without affecting your credit score. You can always "complete the application later."
It offers two paths:
Check if you pre-qualify (a See If You Pre-qualify button; a soft pull with no credit-score impact).
Note: Customers without a Social Security Number cannot pre-qualify. Those with an ITIN should skip pre-qualification and complete a full application instead).
Complete application (an Apply Now button; submits directly to Wells Fargo with a hard credit inquiry that may impact the customer's credit score).

3. Applicant - The customer completes Personal Information: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Primary Phone Number, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Gross Monthly Income, and Income Type (dropdown), then clicks Next.

4. Job details - The customer enters the service address (Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State, Zip Code), selects a Residence Type (Own with mortgage / Own outright / Rent), and selects an Improvement Type (dropdown). Below the fields, the customer checks a consent box: "By checking this box, I understand this is not a credit card application and is only being used to see if any pre-qualified offers are available. I also understand Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. will conduct a soft pull of my credit and this will not affect my credit score. I also understand that if Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. has no available offers, ServiceTitan will send the above information to secondary lenders." with a View terms link, plus a note that Ownership Type, Income Type, and Improvement Type will not be shared with Wells Fargo. The customer clicks See If You Pre-qualify.

The pre-qualification outcome then displays: "You've been prequalified. Only a few more steps to go!" showing the available credit line (e.g. "UP TO $5,724.07 available credit line"), along with the notice: "Final credit approval will be based on your ability to pay and identify verification. Continuing with this process will result in a hard pull on your credit," and "By selecting Apply Now the information provided during the prequalification will be used as part of your application." The customer clicks Apply Now.

Step 2: Completing the application on Wells Fargo Credit Connect (external site)
Prequalification / welcome page - Shows "Welcome [Applicant Name]" and explains, under "Before applying, please remember": a valid email address is required, personal information is encrypted, the customer can select Exit at any point to cancel and delete their information, they must provide an SSN or ITIN plus birth date and net annual income, an alternative application method is available if not using this device, and valid picture ID will be required. A "Types of special terms promotions that might be available" section explains Deferred Interest promotions and Special (reduced) Rate promotions. An "In this electronic credit card application process, you must" section lists the e-sign consent, application, and submission requirements. The customer clicks Continue.

2. Email Validation - The customer confirms or enters their email address (used to send the Credit Card Agreement, Truth-in-Lending disclosures, Arbitration Agreement, and Privacy Notice) and clicks Continue.

3. Individual/Joint Credit Application - The customer answers "Do you want to apply with a Co-Applicant?" (Yes/No) and clicks Continue.

4. Review Credit Card Application - Before submitting, the customer reviews an Applicant Review summary (Applicant name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number [masked], Housing Status, Zip, Address, City, State, Email, Home/Mobile/Work Phone, Net Annual Income) and clicks Continue if everything is correct, or Back to make changes.

Please review the Credit Card Agreement, the Arbitration Agreement and the Wells Fargo Retail Services Privacy Notice and sign below by checking the box.

If the Wells Fargo pre-qualification is declined (second-look financing)
Because the same application is submitted to Wells Fargo and a configured second-look partner at once (see above), a Wells Fargo decline isn't the end of the flow — the customer's second-look result is already in hand and gets presented as part of the same outcome, without the customer submitting a second application:
Wells Fargo declines, the second-look partner approves - The customer's outcome includes both the Wells Fargo decline and the second-look partner's prequalified offers, so they can select one to continue.

Wells Fargo declines, the second-look partner also declines - The customer's outcome includes both the Wells Fargo decline and the second-look partner's "view additional options" flow.

Wells Fargo approves — The customer continues with Wells Fargo as normal; second-look isn't needed.
If the full Wells Fargo application is declined
The joint prequal experience above is separate from what happens if a customer proceeds to the full Wells Fargo application (the hard-pull step in Step 2) and that full application is declined. In that case, if the job is in an eligible second-look Business Unit, the customer is redirected to continue into the second-look partner's waterfall application flow to complete a full application with that partner's lenders.
ServiceTitan has no control over the questions, decisions, or application process once the customer is in the Wells Fargo or second-look partner's application flow — all financing decisions are made by the third-party lender.
If no second-look partner is enabled, the customer sees only the Wells Fargo outcome at each stage, with no further automatic hand-off to another lender.
