Overview
You can offer more than one financing program on a single business unit through the Synchrony Financial (SYF) and Wells Fargo (WF) integrations. You add multiple Merchant IDs (MIDs) to a business unit, name each one, and assign them to custom financing rules. This lets one business unit present distinct financing programs for different brands, product lines, or pricing strategies without creating separate business units.

Things to know
This feature works only with the Synchrony Financial (SYF) and Wells Fargo (WF) financing integrations.
You can add up to three Merchant IDs (MIDs) on a business unit.
Each MID represents one financing program and its rate sheet. Name each MID so your team can tell programs apart.
You can assign one or more MIDs to the default rule or to a custom rule.
Before you remove a MID, delete any rules that use it. You can't remove a MID while it still has active rules.
Confirm with your financing partner that each additional MID is active before you add it in ServiceTitan.
Best practices
Decide which business units need more than one financing program before you start, and gather the Merchant IDs (MIDs) for each program.
Give each MID a clear, recognizable name, such as the brand or product line it supports, so your office team selects the right program.
Align with Synchrony Financial or Wells Fargo so each additional MID is active and ready before you configure it.
Review the financing options your technicians see in the field after you make changes, so the correct programs show on jobs.
Use cases
An HVAC company partners with two equipment brands, each with its own Synchrony Financial program. The administrator adds both MIDs to the HVAC business unit so technicians present the right program for the brand being installed.
A plumbing company runs a premium program and a standard program with different rate sheets. Both programs are available on the same business unit, and the office team selects the right one when generating financing offers.
A multi-location electrical contractor offers region-specific Wells Fargo terms under one business unit. The administrator assigns separate MIDs to the business unit and maps each to a custom rule.
A residential construction company offers different programs for new builds and remodels. Each program uses its own MID, so the financing options match the type of project.
