Overview

After you create estimates, you can add or remove pricebook items, add other times, and use estimate actions. This allows you customize estimates to suit the needs of the customer.

Feature configuration

  • The Field Mobile App is optimized for iOS, iPadOS, and Android phones and tablets. For more, see System requirements and mobile app information.

  • If you're using the Field Mobile App and need support, please contact (through the office) or reach out directly to support@servicetitan.com.

  • The following permissions are required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

    • Add Estimate and Invoice Item: Add items to estimates.

    • View Total Price and View item prices: View total and item prices on estimates.

    • Edit Estimate Name And Summary: Change estimate names and add summaries to estimates.

    • Delete Estimate: Delete estimates.

Add or remove pricebook items from an estimate in the Field Mobile App

If needed, you can add or remove Pricebook items from an estimate. This allows you to customize the estimate to the needs and budget of your customer.

Add pricebook items to an estimate

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.

  2. Tap Add items on the estimate you want to edit.Estimate summary showing total, member price, and option to add items.

  3. From the pricebook that opens, select the items you want to add.

  4. When finished, tap Add to EstimatesPiping options for removal and replacement displayed in a mobile app interface.

Remove pricebook items from an estimate

  1. Tap the estimate to open it.

  2. Scroll to the Items section and tap Edit.

  3. Tap Delete next to the item you want to remove.

  4. On the confirmation window that opens, tap Remove.

Add other items to an estimate in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.

  2. Tap Add at the bottom of the screen.

  3. On the Add to Proposal window that opens, you can:

    • Add Items

    • Add Findings

    • Add a Note

    • Add a Summary

    • Add Documents from job

    • Take photo or video

    • Upload photo, video, or file

    • Upload file

    • Add Rebates

    • Add Energy savings

    • Add Estimates from template

    • Add a Previous opportunity

    • Add a Custom estimate

Use estimate actions in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.

  2. Tap More next to the estimate you want to take action on. 

  3. On the window that opens, you can:

    • Rename the estimate

    • Assign a Thumbnail Picture to the estimate

    • Delete the estimate

    • Move up to change the order

    • Move down to change the order

      Note: If you marked the estimate as Sold, the actions you can take after tapping More change to:

      • Options to perform the work Now or Later

      • Collect Deposit

      • Assign a Thumbnail Picture to the estimate

      • Move up to change the order

      • Move down to change the order
