Overview

Temporarily pause your email campaigns. While paused, make necessary changes, like updating your email content or adjusting your audience filters. When ready, resume the campaign with your changes for a seamless experience.


Make sure you’re viewing the correct Marketing Pro content

This article is for Marketing Pro. If you are using Marketing Pro, see Schedule, stop, and resume Marketing Pro campaigns for content specific to your experience.

You can check your version following these steps:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing A speaker icon representing Marketing in ServiceTitan..

  2. If the side menu under Analytics includes One-Time Campaigns and Automated Campaigns, you're using Marketing Pro v2. If these options aren't visible, you're using Marketing Pro.

  • Marketing managers, business owners, and other marketers on your team

  • Primarily benefits Residential Service and Replacement business types and Commercial Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

Feature configuration

  • To get started with Marketing Pro, request a demo on our Pro Products page, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Pro Account Manager (PAM).

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.

Things to know

  • You can only pause and resume email campaigns. Once stopped, you cannot resume a direct mail or SMS campaign. You can clone stopped direct mail or SMS campaigns to build a new but similar campaign. For more, see Manage Marketing Pro functions.

  • When editing a paused campaign, you can't change its type, delivery logic, or the order of emails. If another campaign is using the same audience, you can't edit the audience either.

  • You can't edit the content of emails after they've been sent to customers.

  • If you've paused a campaign with multiple emails and all the scheduled send dates have already passed, the next email will go out immediately when you resume the campaign. Then, the remaining emails will follow based on the original schedule you set.

Pause, edit, and resume live email campaigns

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing > Pro campaigns.

  2. Find the live email campaign you want to pause.

  3. Click More and select StopCampaign management interface showing email statuses and options to stop campaigns.

  4. On the pop-up window that opens, confirm that you want to stop this campaign. Confirmation prompt to stop a campaign with options to cancel or confirm action.

  5. Click More and select Edit for the stopped campaign.

  6. Make any needed edits to the campaign. Email campaign management interface showing unsold estimates and audience details.

  7. When ready, click Resume Campaign to relaunch your campaign.

Your email campaign is resumed and will begin shortly after processing. If you need to stop your campaign, click Stop before it finishes processing.
