Things to know

Dispatch to a job appointment in the Field Mobile App

If you haven't already been dispatched by the office, you can dispatch yourself when you're heading out to a job appointment.

  1. Open the job and tap DispatchScheduled maintenance sales visit details including time, project, and assigned technicians.

  2. The screen updates to show you're dispatched. Job details for a dispatched commercial fan installation scheduled for October 29, 2024.

If you're dispatching to a future job appointment, a message appears asking you to confirm if you want to dispatch to that job. Tap Dispatch to dispatch yourself, or tap Cancel to return to the Job Details screen.

Note: You can't dispatch to a job appointment if you're already dispatched to or working on another job appointment.

Arrive at a job appointment in the Field Mobile App

When you've arrived at a job site, you can mark yourself as Arrived to begin your work.

  1. Open the job you're dispatched to and tap ArriveJob details for maintenance sales visit, including dispatch status and assigned technicians.

  2. On the confirmation window that opens, tap Yes to mark yourself Arrived.

    Tip: If you accidentally tap Arrive, you can tap No in the pop up to cancel the action.

Depending on your company's setup, you may trigger one or more forms to complete after you arrive at a job appointment. Required arrival forms must be completed upon arrival. Other types of forms can be completed later.
