This article will help users understand why they can only see one business unit on the dispatch board and walk them through the steps to remedy this.


Problem

Users can get confused when they are unable to clear the business unit filter to view all technicians and jobs on the dispatch board.


Solution

  1. Review employee profile for business unit assignment

  2. Remove business unit assignment from employee profile


Review employee profile for business unit assignment

If a user is only able to see one business unit on the dispatch board and is unable to clear the business unit filter to see all business units, the first step is for an admin user to navigate to Settings > Employees, edit the employee in question and review whether the employee has a business unit assignment in their profile.


Remove business unit assignment from employee profile

If the user in question has a business unit assignment in their employee profile an admin user can remove the assignment and save their changes, at which point the user should be able to see all business units on the dispatch board again.
