Overview

Filters make navigating the Dispatch Board easier. Use filters to help you find the correct technician for an appointment. You can filter the Dispatch Board by business units (BUs), teams, and skills.

Who uses this feature

  • Applies to all business types

Feature configuration

  • The View dispatch board permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

Things to know

  • If your employee profile is assigned to a business unit (BU), that BU is selected by default in filtering and cannot be cleared.

  • If technicians aren't assigned to business units or teams, then they'll always appear on the Dispatch Board, no matter which filters you select.

  • We've added teams and skills filters, which are now grouped with the existing BUs filter in a new Filter  menu. The new filter menu is available by default, but you can request to have it turned off if you don't want to see or use it. Requesting to turn off the new filter menu will remove the teams and skills filters and will return you to the old view, which only displays the BUs filter at the top of the Dispatch Board. To request this, please contact Technical Support.

  • If you use several combinations of BUs, teams, or skills, you can bookmark your view for quick access. The link to the Dispatch Board changes as you update the filter selections being displayed. Select the filters you want then bookmark that custom link to the Dispatch Board in your browser. For example, create a bookmark called "Install West" for only the install-related BUs for a certain zone.

  • After you apply filters, your filter selection remains if you go to a different screen in ServiceTitan and then back to the Dispatch Board. If you sign out and back in to ServiceTitan, any previous filters you applied are cleared.
