What is the reason for active RSEs of expired memberships still appearing on Follow Ups even though the setting was disabled, and how can they be manually dismissed?

Problem

You find that active RSEs of expired memberships appear on Follow Ups despite disabling the setting. This issue occurs because the setting does not work retroactively. RSEs for memberships that expired before the setting was deactivated will still be visible.

Solution

Understanding the Issue

  1. The Keep Recurring Services 'ON' Membership expiration setting can be turned on or off by going to Settings > Your Account > Feature Configurations. For more, see Manage feature configurations.

  2. Remember that the setting change affects only memberships that expire after the deactivation date.

  3. Know that RSEs for memberships expiring before the deactivation date will remain active and visible.

Manually Dismissing RSEs

  1. Go to the main navigation bar and click Follow Up.

  2. In the side panel, click Recurring Service Events.

  3. Click the checkbox next to the RSE you want to dismiss, then click Dismissclick Recurring Service Events

  4. Confirm the dismissal of the RSE.

  5. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each RSE related to expired memberships before the deactivation date. To dismiss multiple RSEs at once, see Dismiss multiple recurring service events.

By following these steps, you can manage and dismiss active RSEs of expired memberships that should not appear on your Follow Ups.
