Problem
After the status of a Recurring Service Event is set to dismissed, it cannot be changed back to not attempted.
Solution
This workaround allows you to effectively reset the status of a Recurring Service Event by creating a new event with the desired status.
Note: This method only works for point of sale memberships. If the recurring service event belongs to a membership with deferred revenue, see How to bring back an accidentally dismissed RSE?
Delete and re-add the Recurring Service
Go to the Customer's profile.
Find the Membership to which the recurring service is tied.
Go to the Membership page and click Edit
to edit the membership.Scroll down to find the Recurring Service you need to adjust.
Note: Since there is no direct way to revert the status, you need to delete the current Recurring Service.
Click on the delete
next to the Recurring Service.Confirm the deletion of the Recurring Service.
After deleting, add the same Recurring Service again. This action will create new Recurring Service Events.
Adjust the dates for the newly added Recurring Service Events as desired.
If the process creates more events than needed, you can dismiss the extra event to maintain the correct schedule.
