Overview

Convert and sell estimate opportunities to book them into jobs and easily grow your revenue. There are two ways to sell an estimate:

  1. From the estimate page

  2. From the opportunity page

Things to know

  • When you sell or convert an estimate from ServiceTitan, we recommend you book an install job to get the items from the sold estimate to the booked jobs' invoice.

Convert and sell from the estimate page

In the Estimate section, you can convert and sell estimates:

  1. From the estimate page, click Sold / ConvertEstimate details showing status, job number, invoice status, and conversion option.

  2. In the pop-up window, select the technician from the dropdown.

  3. Click Apply.        

    Note: If you sell estimates with no non-serialized items, the cost is updated to the current average cost.

  4. If you want to unsell the sold estimate, from the estimate page click Unsell.

Convert and sell from the opportunity page

  1. From the estimate page, under the Opportunity field, click the opportunity number. Estimate details showing status, job number, invoice status, and follow-up date.

  2. In the Opportunity Follow-up screen that opens, find the estimate you want to sell.

  3. From the Sold/Convert dropdown, select the technician or office employee who sold the estimate. Opportunity follow-up details including amount, status, and seller information displayed.

  4. Click Sold/Convert.        

    Note: When you sell the estimate, all estimate items are reflected in the Budget vs. Actual section based on their project and category label.

            The estimate for the job opens.    

Book an estimate into a job

  1. From the estimate page, select the item you want to include in the job.        

    Tip: You can click Select All to include all items in the job, or Deselect All to remove items from the job.

  2. Click Book New Job. The Call Booking screen opens. User interface displaying equipment estimates with a highlighted button to book a new job.
