Problem

Sometimes, when changing the quantity of a line item in an estimate, it does not save. It reverts back to 1. This issue occurs even after refreshing the page or re-entering the quantity.

Solution

You should be able to resolve the issue of quantities not saving when building estimates in ServiceTitan.

Resolve estimate quantity issue

  1. Check if the issue persists across different estimates. Try changing quantities on various items to see if the problem is specific to one item or widespread.

  2. Ensure you are using Google Chrome. ServiceTitan works best with Chrome.

  3. Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Here's how:        

    1. Open Google Chrome.

    2. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner to open the menu.

    3. Go to More tools and then Clear browsing data.

    4. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

    5. Click Clear data.

  4. Check if your Chrome browser is up to date. Update it if it's not. Here's how:        

    1. Open Google Chrome.

    2. Click the three dots in the upper right corner to open the menu.

    3. Go to Help and then About Google Chrome.

    4. Chrome will check for updates automatically. If there's an update available, click Update.

    5. Restart Chrome after updating.

    6. Try changing the quantity again in your estimate. Make sure to save your changes.

If the issue still occurs, try using ServiceTitan on a different computer or device. This can help determine if the problem is with the device.
