Memberships are not being canceled and the status change is not being saved

Problem

You try to cancel a membership by changing its status to Canceled, but the change does not save.

Solution

  1. Go to the membership details page and click Edit .

  2. Find the Cancellation Date field. This might be set to a future date.

  3. Change the Cancellation Date to today's date.

  4. After setting the cancellation date to today, try changing the membership status again.

  5. Click on the Status dropdown menu and select Canceled.

  6. Save your changes. Make sure that the status change was now saved correctly.

By setting the cancellation date to today, you should be able to cancel the membership and save the status change.
