Overview

All equipment has a status of Installed or Replaced in the Field Mobile App. Equipment is in Installed status by default and changes to Replaced when a new piece of equipment replaces it. Edit, replace, or remove equipment as needed to keep everything up-to-date.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .

Feature configuration

Edit equipment attached to a service location in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your current job and tap the Equipment tab.

  2. Select the equipment you want to edit.

  3. Tap EditOverview of boiler details including age, installation date, and location information.

  4. Make the necessary changes and tap Save.

Replace or remove equipment from a service location in the Field Mobile App

Titan Intelligence (TI) shows you replacement opportunities for equipment. This helps you determine when replacements or heavier repairs may be needed.

Tip: Mark equipment as Replaced instead of removing it to keep a historical record of equipment on a job.

To replace or remove equipment:

  1. Open your current job and tap the Equipment tab.

  2. Select the equipment you want to replace or remove.

  3. On the screen that opens, reference the Predicted Replacement Date to help determine when the equipment may need to be replaced. Details of a Honeywell portable air conditioner with predicted replacement date approaching.

    Note: This field uses Titan Intelligence (TI) to show the predicted end of life date for a piece of equipment. Tap the TI logo to learn more about what this date means and how it's generated.

  4. Tap More at the top of the screen.

  5. On the window that opens, tap Mark as Replaced or Remove.

  6. On the confirmation window that opens, tap Replace or Remove.

Note: The Remove location equipment permission is required to remove equipment. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
