Problem
Technicians may find that discounts and fees are not visible or available to add to an invoice in ServiceTitan Mobile. This issue often occurs because discounts are mistakenly set up as fees or the other way around, and because they are not assigned to categories.
Solution
Your technicians can add discounts and fees to invoices directly from ServiceTitan Mobile, ensuring accurate billing and customer satisfaction.
Correct discounts and fees setup in office
In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side panel, click Discounts and Fees.
Note: Account configuration is required to use discounts and fees feature. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) for details.Check your discounts and fees setup and make sure discounts are under the Discounts section and fees are under the Fees section.
If you find any fees listed under the Discounts section, move them to the Fees section. Do the same for any discounts incorrectly listed under the Fees section.
Assign categories to discounts and fees in office
In Pricebook, decide if you want to use existing categories or create new ones for your discounts and fees.
To create a new category, select Add New Category and name Discounts and Fees.
Assign each discount and fee to a category. You can do this by editing the item and selecting the appropriate category from a dropdown menu.
Make discounts and fees visible in ServiceTitan Mobile
When you correct the setup and assigned categories, sync Pricebook in ServiceTitan Mobile.
Tell your technicians to refresh their app or log out and log back in to see the updates.
To add a discount or fee to an invoice, they should open the invoice in ServiceTitan Mobile.
Tap Add Item and search for the discount or fee by name or by browsing the category you assigned it to.
Select the discount or fee to add it to the invoice. Adjust the amount if necessary.
