How to make discounts editable in the ServiceTitan Mobile App?

Problem

Technicians currently can't edit discounts on mobile; a pricebook item with a negative price solves this.

Solution

1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook

2. In the Services screen opens, click +Add Service.

3. Name the new item Discount.

4. Enter a negative value in the price field, for example, -50. This will function as a discount when added to an invoice or estimate.

5. Assign the category for this item.

6. Make sure the General Ledger (GL) mapping for this service item matches that of other Discounts and Fees.

7. Click Save to add the service to your Pricebook.

In ServiceTitan Mobile, technicians can now add the newly created Discount service item to estimates or invoices.

The price of this item is editable directly from the mobile device, giving technicians the flexibility to adjust discounts as needed in the field.
