Problem
The Dialpad web and desktop apps use a network connection to communicate with the server. The Dialpad web app can't connect to the server if the network connection is interrupted or unstable. This can prevent users from accessing the app's features.
Solution
Download the Dialpad mobile application to your Apple device
You need to complete these steps to download the Dialpad Mobile app to your Apple device:
Download the Dialpad Mobile app from your App Store.
Log into your existing account.

Enter your cell phone number as a forwarding number.
When entered, Dialpad calls your mobile number and asks you to tap 1 to receive the call, then hang up. You will be logged into your account.
When you link your phone number, you can choose to route calls answered on your Dialpad mobile app through your local network, for example, wifi or Internet or through your cellular network. For more, see Use HD Calling.
Use HD Calling
When you enable HD Calling, calls route through the internet and ring through the Dialpad mobile app.

When you disable HD Calling, calls route through the cellular network like a regular phone call and don't ring through the Dialpad mobile app. When HD calling is disabled, you need to tap 1 to receive the call. The call will appear as if it originates from the company number that you initially dialed.

You can customize how calls appear to you when you receive an inbound call:
Go to your personal Dialpad settings.
Scroll down to the Your Devices section.
Click Advanced Settings.

Advanced Settings opens.

Enable HD Calling for iOS devices
Follow the steps below to enable HD Calling on the Dialpad mobile app:
Click your picture in the top corner.
Scroll down to the Advanced section.
Click HD Calling.
Select Enable for inbound or outbound calls.

Enable HD Calling for Android devices
On the Home page, tap the menu icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap HD Calling.
Select Enable HD Calling or Disable HD calling for inbound or outbound calls.

Download the Dialpad Mobile application to your device
Note: The app prompts you to automatically follow the steps described below when you first log in with your device.
Download the Dialpad mobile app from your Google Play or Apple store.
Log into your existing account.
Tap the three-dot menu at the top left corner.
Tap Settings.
Tap Add A Forwarding Number.
Note: You can take and make calls from the Dialpad mobile app. If you want to use click-2-call with the Dialpad mobile app, make sure the device is set to ring in your Personal Settings page and disable the embedded phone in ServiceTitan if it is enabled.
