Not Receiving Email Notifications for Voicemails Left by Customer

Problem

You are not receiving email notifications for voicemails left by a customer. The issue is due to Dialpad spam settings listing the customer's number with a high spam score. You want to know how to unblock the number and receive voicemail notifications in the future.

Solution

  1. Go to Dialpad and click on the Contact Center.

  2. Click on Advanced Settings.

  3. Remove the checkmark on Callers with a high spam score.

  4. Save the changes.

  5. Check the spam folder for the email address that should be receiving voicemail notifications.

  6. If the voicemail is in the spam folder, mark it as not spam.

  7. If the number is still blocked, go to ServiceTitan > Settings > Blocked Numbers.

  8. If the number is not listed, it is likely due to the customer's phone carrier listing the number as high spam.

  9. Advise the customer to contact their phone carrier to remove the high spam score.

  10. Once the high spam score is removed, the number should no longer be blocked and voicemail notifications should be received.
