Understand index calculations

The Revenue‑to‑Percentile Index equals a tenant's revenue divided by the cluster's 80th‑percentile revenue, indicating performance relative to top performers.

Index Calculation: The index = tenant revenue divided by the selected group's 80th-percentile revenue. A value of 1.00 means the tenant's revenue perfectly matches the top-performer benchmark (80th percentile).

Formula: Index = (Completed Revenue) / (80th Percentile Completed Revenue)

View On 80th Revenue-to-Percentile Indices

The 80th Revenue-to-Percentile Indices section displays a table comparing each brand's Revenue-to-Percentile Index between the two selected periods.

The table consists the following columns:

  • Brand Name: The tenant's name.

  • Revenue-to-Percentile Index (Current Period): The tenant's performance in the selected date range.

  • Revenue-to-Percentile Index (Comparison Period): Historical index from the previous period.

  • Variance: Percentage change between the two periods.

A higher index indicates performance closer to or exceeding the 80th percentile of peers, while a negative variance reflects a decline in relative performance.
