Overview

After you verify the customer's membership, renew it by adding it as a renewal task from your pricebook. This allows you to efficiently sell the membership renewal while you're on site with the customer. You can add membership renewals to both estimates and invoices.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .

  • Customers with existing memberships can see the member savings on the estimate or invoice it's attached to.

  • Membership visits are booked from recurring events included with a membership.

Add membership renewals to estimates in the Field Mobile App

Add renewals in estimates to present the pricing and options to customers before finalizing a service.

Add a membership renewal to an estimate

  1. Open the job and tap the Estimates tab.

  2. Tap the estimate to open it.

  3. Scroll to the Items section and tap Edit.

  4. On the Estimate Items screen that opens, tap Add Items .

  5. In the pricebook that opens, find the membership you want to renew—as indicated by the Membership Renewal tag—then tap AddMembership options displayed with prices and an add button for selection.

    Note: If there are multiple memberships at the location, tap the membership to open it, select the name of the membership you want to renew, then tap Add. If there is only one membership, you won't be able to edit this field.

  6. When finished, tap Add to Estimate.

Edit a renewal task in estimates

  1. Tap the Estimate where the renewal task is added.

  2. Scroll to the Items section and tap Edit.

  3. Edit the renewal task details. Your changes are automatically saved.

Add membership renewals to invoices in the Field Mobile App

If a membership is expiring, you can add a renewal task directly to the invoice instead of creating a separate estimate.

Add a membership renewal to an invoice

  1. Open the job and tap the Invoice tab.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Add > Invoice Item.

  3. In the pricebook that opens, find the membership you want to renew—as indicated by the Membership Renewal tag—then tap Add.

    Note: If there are multiple memberships at the location, tap the membership to open it, select the name of the membership you want to renew, then tap Add. If there is only one membership, you won't be able to edit this field.

  4. When finished, tap Add to Invoice.

  1. On the job's Invoice tab, scroll to the Invoice Items section and tap View.

  2. Edit the renewal task details. Your changes are automatically saved.
