Overview
Plan Optimizer provides a personalized financing strategy that aims to maximize the impact of financing on your business. You can receive a recommended set of tiers and plans specific to your business. Plan Optimizer is powered by Titan Intelligence, which leverages proprietary insights to build your custom strategy by reviewing your historical financing plan performance and costs for Greensky, Goodleap, and Service Finance, Business Trades, consumer preferences and behavior, and current business performance.

Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.
The Edit integrated financing settings permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Things to know
Using Plan Optimizer with Synchrony, Wells Fargo, Turns, and Financeit is not available at this time.
You can make the minimum equal to or greater than the minimum loan amount set by the provider.
Common Terms
Get familiar with these commonly used terms across the Custom Financing tool:
Price of proposal: The dollar range that the plans within the tier are available to the customer at point of sale.
Average dealer fee: The sum of all dealer fees in the tier / total number of plans in the tier.
Customer's monthly price: The minimum and maximum monthly price based on the primary plan selected within the tier.
Primary Plan: The plan used to calculate the monthly price on proposals.

Choose a financing strategy
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to Integrations > Financing.
On the Financing screen that opens, click Custom Financing for your preferred lender.
Click Edit
for the Default Rule. 
Click Try the Plan Optimizer.

Select a financing strategy:
Conservative: Optimize for higher margins, but with lower conversion rates. Preference for plans with low fees.
Balanced (Recommended): Optimize for higher potential returns by balancing margins and conversion rates.
Aggressive: Optimize for higher conversion rates, but with lower margins. Preference for plans with higher customer favorability.
Note: The chart updates based on your strategy choice to give you an idea of how certain results will be impacted.
Click Next.
Price of proposal: The dollar range that the plans within the tier are available to the customer at point of sale.
Average dealer fee: The sum of all dealer fees in the tier / total number of plans in the tier.
Customer's monthly price: The minimum and maximum monthly price based on the primary plan selected within the tier.
Plans: The number of plans within the tier.
When finished, click Save Rule.

Edit your Plan Optimizer recommendations
The Plan Optimizer recommendations are fully editable. You can edit the plans, add or remove tiers, and update tier ranges.
Add a tier
Go to the Select Plans screen of Plan Optimizer.
Click Add Tier.

Delete a tier
Go to the Select Plans screen of Plan Optimizer.
Click Edit Tier > Delete Tier. A confirmation pop-up appears.

Click Delete to confirm your choice.
Edit a tier range
Go to the Select Plans screen of Plan Optimizer.
Click Edit Tier.
Enter the desired dollar amount for the minimum and maximum of the Total Spend ranges.

Click Save.
Add a plan
Go to the Select Plans screen of Plan Optimizer.
Click Edit Tier.
Click Add Plan.

Select one or more plans from the list of plans on your rate sheet.
Tip: Use the Type, APR, Term, and Contractor Fee filters to find the plans you're looking for.
Click Add Plans to confirm your choice.

Click Save.
Start from scratch
If you want to create your own financing strategy instead of using the Plan Optimizer recommendations, you can start from scratch and manually build the strategy yourself.
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to Integrations > Financing.
On the Financing screen that opens, click Custom Financing for your preferred lender.
Click Edit
for the Default Rule. 
Click Try the Plan Optimizer.

Select a financing strategy.

Click Next.
On the Select Plans screen, click the Start from scratch hyperlink. A confirmation pop-up appears.

Click Start From Scratch to confirm your choice.
Make a selection under How would you like to set up your financing rule?
Use multiple spending tiers (Recommended): Offer different plans for jobs with different proposal prices.
Note: We recommend creating tiers so you can protect your margins and reserve the higher dealer fee plans for high ticket jobs.
Do not use spending tiers: Offer the same plans for all jobs, regardless of proposal price.

Use multiple spending tiers
Create your first tier by setting spending ranges and adding plans. Then, add additional tiers and repeat the process.
Click Edit Tier.
Enter the desired dollar amount for the minimum and maximum of the Total Spend ranges.
Note: There can't be any range gaps between the tiers. For example, if Tier 1 has a maximum of $4999, then Tier 2 must have a minimum of $5000.
Click Add Plans.
Select one or more plans from the list of plans on your rate sheet.
Tip: Use the Type, APR, Term, and Contractor Fee filters to find the plans you're looking for.
Click Add Plans to confirm your choice.

Click Save.
Click Add Tier and repeat steps 1–6 until you have all of your spending tiers.
When finished, click Save Rule.

Do not use spending tiers
Click Add Plan.

Select one or more plans from the list of plans on your rate sheet.
Note: You can pick up to 10 plans.
Tip: Use the Type, APR, Term, and Contractor Fee filters to find the plans you're looking for.
Click Add Plans to confirm your choice.

Select the Primary plan by clicking one of the plans in the list.
Note: The primary plan is used to calculate the monthly payment in proposals.
When finished, click Save Rule.
