Overview
If changes are made to timesheets or when an invoice is posted for performance pay to calculate after a payroll period has ended, these changes don’t automatically appear in the Payroll Dashboard, Job Costing, Master Pay File reports and any report based on the Timesheets reporting template. To ensure payroll accuracy, manually refresh payroll for affected users referencing the specific payroll periods.

Use cases
When the user’s timesheets are corrected for previous weeks, you need to refresh their payroll for the specific period for which the change was made in the Payroll Dashboard.
After a payroll period ends and an invoice with an invoice date within that period is afterward posted to generate commission, refresh the payroll for the technician who is supposed to receive the performance bonus in that specific period in the Payroll Dashboard.
Note: If the technician’s performance pay is configured through Configurable Payroll and set to be paid on the Last Payment Date, the date of the last payment that covered the invoice balance should be used when selecting the payroll period to update.
After a payroll period ends and a payroll adjustment is added for a user, refresh the payroll for that specific period in the Payroll Dashboard for the user who is supposed to receive the payroll adjustment.
