Edit service agreements in bulk

Overview

Edit values on existing service agreements in bulk to streamline management and save time. Fields that can be updated include agreement details, document templates, business unit, and client-specific pricing rules.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, estimators, project managers, operations managers, and CSRs

  • Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

Feature configuration

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.

Edit service agreements in bulk

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Follow Up.

  2. In the side menu, click Service Agreements.

  3. Select the agreements you want to bulk edit.

  4. Click Actions, then select Edit Agreements

  5. On the Edit Agreements screen that opens, find and update the fields that need to be changed. You can:

    1. Use Search A simple icon in the shape of a magnifying glass. to find the fields you want. Editing agreements with a focus on the Account Manager field and options.

    2. Select a field, then click Replace with and choose the new value from the dropdown.

      Note: Some fields might have the Clear selection option. This removes the current value.

      Tip: Hover the info icon to learn more about the field.

  6. When finished, click Apply Changes.

The Agreements Edited Successfully message appears to confirm that the changes have been applied.

Note: Changing the business unit (BU) applies to future activity only: new jobs and billing use the new BU, while existing invoices, jobs, and payments — and any visit that already has its own BU — stay under the previous BU.
