You can process returns if the quantity from procurement and all invoices is greater than the quantity you want to return.
Create a return from an invoice
To create a return from the invoice screen, complete the following:
Navigate to the invoice you want to create a return from, and click Add a purchase order.
Note: If the purchase order is related to a project, the purchase order's business unit must match one of the project's assigned business units, if it has any.
In the Line Items section click Add Item. You will be directed to Add Purchase Order Line Item screen where you can enter the details for your return.
Note: In the Quantity field, enter the quantity of items you returning as a negative number.
When you are finished, click Add Item. You now see your return listed in the Line Items section of the invoice.

Click Save to complete the creation of your return.
Create a non-job return
To create a non-job return, complete the following:
Navigate to the Dispatch Board.
Click the technician for who the return is being made. Then, select Non-job purchase orders.
From the Purchase Orders screen, click Add.
In the Line Items section, click Add Item.
You will be directed to Add Purchase Order Line Item screen where you can enter the details for your return.Note: In the Quantity field, enter the quantity of items you returning as a negative number.
When you are finished, click Add Item. You now see your return listed in the Line Items section of the invoice.

Click Save to complete the creation of your return.
