Complete and send PDF forms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

Overview

If your office has set up PDF forms, you can open, fill, annotate, save, email, print, and manage them with inline PDF editing in the Field Mobile App. This allows you to gather details about customers and jobs for your office and email completed forms to customers.

Things to know

  • If a form is required, you must complete it before you can complete the job.

  • If you need a form from a different business unit (BU), tap the Business Unit dropdown and select the appropriate BU.

  • You can't upload photos or videos to PDF forms. You can only edit and fill out PDF forms.

  • Signature fields designed in a PDF editing program, such as Adobe Acrobat, or PDF forms with embedded formulas or calculations aren't supported in the Field Mobile App.

  • Data from PDF forms can't be exported.

  • If needed, you can duplicate PDF forms and view previous forms. For more, see Complete and send forms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

  • If your office has set it up, PDF forms are also available for equipment.

Complete a PDF form in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and tap the Forms tab.

  2. Tap the PDF Form you want to complete. Scheduled cooling tune-up job details with contact and checklist options displayed.

    Tip: To quickly find PDF forms, tap Type > PDF Forms to filter your view. You can also filter by Business Unit.

  3. On the PDF form that opens, tap EditHVAC equipment rental agreement with customer details and payment information outlined clearly.

  4. If your office set up Smart Fields, they're pre-populated in the form. Fields highlighted in blue are set up by the office for you to fill out. Tap a field to type in it.

    Note: Signature fields in PDF forms must be completed. Be aware that signature fields designed in a PDF editing program, such as Adobe Acrobat, or PDF forms with embedded formulas or calculations aren't supported in the Field Mobile App.

  5.       Note: This option is only available on Android devices.

    • Arrow Tool

    • Circle , Rectangle , and other shapes

      Note: Polygon and Polyline shapes are only available on Android devices.

    • Highlight Text Tool

    • Text Box Tool

    • Stamp Tool

    • Signature Box Tool

  6. When finished, tap Save to send the completed PDF form to your office. HVAC equipment rental agreement with customer details and payment information sections highlighted.

    Note: After you tap Save, if your office set up Smart Fields and you changed one of them you're prompted to confirm your changes.

Send a completed PDF form to a customer in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and tap the Forms tab.

  2. Tap More next to the PDF Form you want to send. Job details for a scheduled cooling tune-up with checklist and completion status.

  3. On the PDF form that opens, tap ShareHVAC system document showing customer information and installation address details.

  4. On the window that opens, tap Email Forms(s)Menu options for sending forms, including email, share, and print options.

  5. On the Email Form(s) window that opens, enter the email recipient and then tap Send.

    Tip: If needed, you can also Share or Print the form.
