Overview
If your account is configured for it, you can create an estimate while creating an equipment or location finding or attach findings to an existing estimate. This allows you, the office, and your customer to know why you made those recommendations based on your findings. Review your findings with the customer so they can decide which estimate to authorize.

Create an estimate from a template while creating a finding in the Field Mobile App
After you enter the required information for the finding, tap Save & Create Estimate.
On the screen that opens, select if you want to include the finding description and summary on the estimate then tap Estimate from template.

On the Proposal templates screen that opens, select the template you want to use.

On the window that opens, select the options you want to include the finding on then tap Add Finding to Estimate.

On the Estimates screen that opens, present the proposal to the customer.
Create a custom estimate while creating a finding in the Field Mobile App
After you enter the required information for the finding, tap Save & Create Estimate.
On the screen that opens, select if you want to include the finding description and summary on the estimate then tap Custom estimate.

On the custom estimate that opens, scroll to the Items section and add one or more items.

When finished, tap Back
to finish adding the estimate.On the Estimates screen that opens, present the proposal to the customer.
Add a finding to an existing estimate while creating a finding in the Field Mobile App
After you enter the required information for the finding, tap Save & Create Estimate.
On the screen that opens, select if you want to include the finding description and summary on the estimate then tap Add to existing estimate.

On the window that opens, select the estimate you want to add the finding to then tap Apply.

On the Estimates screen that opens, present the proposal to the customer.
Add a finding to an existing estimate in the Field Mobile App
Open the estimate you want to add an existing finding to.
Tap Edit or Add next to Findings.
On the Findings screen that opens, tap Add and select one of the following options:
Create finding: Create an equipment finding or a general location finding.
Create finding from form: Create an equipment finding from a form or a general location finding from a form.
Note: The View forms permission is required to create a finding from a form. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Add existing finding: Search for and add an existing finding.

Review findings while presenting estimates in the Field Mobile App
Open your job and tap the Estimates tab.
Tap Present Proposal.
Tap the Findings tab to review your findings with the customer.
