What you need to get started

  • To get started with Field Pro, request a demo on our Pro Products page, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Pro Account Manager (PAM).

  • If you're an existing Sales Pro customer and want to migrate to Field Pro, please fill out this form.

Required permissions

The following permissions are required to set up and use Field Pro. To have these enabled, please contact the account administrator on your team:

  • Field Pro Standard permission for technicians        

    • Enable Atlas in Mobile for Technician

  • Field Pro Advanced permissions for technicians        

    • View Field Pro

    • Enable job briefs

  • Field Pro Advanced permissions for employees        

    • View Field Pro

    • View Field Pro Settings

    • Edit Field Pro Settings

    • View Insights

Quick start guide

After you purchase Field Pro and it's configured for your account, sign in to ServiceTitan to start with enabling Atlas in Field Pro for technicians:

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click SettingsA simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, go to People > Technicians.

  3. On the Technicians screen that opens, click Edit next to the technician you want to enable Atlas in Field Pro for.

  4. In the Pro Products section, turn on the Enable Field Pro – Standard toggle.

  5. When finished, click Save Changes.

What's included in Field Pro Standard and Field Pro Advanced

Field Pro is available in Standard and Advanced, built to support both technicians in the field and employees in the office. For the full list of mobile capabilities, see Field Pro features available on mobile.

Field Pro Standard

Field Pro Standard provides the core tools technicians need to diagnose and resolve issues directly in ServiceTitan without switching between apps. It includes:

  • Equipment information in Atlas on mobile: Quick access to manuals, specs, and diagrams.

  • Troubleshooting in Atlas on mobile: AI guidance to identify likely causes and recommended fixes.

  • Calculators and diagnostic tests in Atlas on mobile: Built-in tools such as superheat/subcool, pressure set points, nitrogen pressure test, and duct sizing

Field Pro Advanced

Advanced adds automatic call recording, missed-opportunity follow-up, and performance management tools for managers, including dashboards, scorecards, and weekly insights. It includes:

  • Pre-job briefs: Summaries of customer and job history to help technicians prepare and spot upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

  • Automated job recordings: Start automatically when a technician arrives at a job, capturing 100% of interactions.

  • Custom scorecards: Automatic scoring of calls against your processes, showing strengths and areas for improvement.

  • Dashboard and insights summary page: A high-level view of performance trends to celebrate wins and coach missed opportunities.

  • Ask Atlas: An AI assistant that answers performance-related questions across your entire business.

Equipment hub in Field Pro gives you instant access to equipment specifications, documentation, and OEM parts. Look up models, identify replacements, and streamline your estimating process.

Field Pro Advanced

Review scorecards

Scorecards show how technicians performed on each recorded job. Managers can use scorecards to train technicians on workflows that lead to consistent customer experiences and stronger business outcomes.

Review and manage recordings

Access and manage recordings directly in Field Pro to review job interactions, listen back to key moments, add comments, or remove recordings when needed. Use bookmarks to highlight important parts of the conversation so you can jump straight to what matters, without scrubbing through long recordings or transcripts.

Record in-person customer conversations from your desktop with Field Pro. After the conversation, save the recording with a clear title and status so it's easy to revisit key details for follow-up and coaching.

Review insights and daily email digests

Use Insights to track performance across technicians and teams. Spot trends, uncover coaching opportunities, and review weekly summaries to reinforce what's working and improve where it counts.

Get key performance updates delivered daily with two email digests: Daily Pulse for a quick snapshot, and Daily Field Pro Insights for prioritized opportunities and coaching actions, so you can recognize wins, address issues early, and improve field results faster.

How does Field Pro help technicians diagnose problems and deliver a great customer experience?

Field Pro equips technicians with Atlas in Field Pro, giving them instant access to equipment specifications through nameplate scans, manuals, wiring diagrams, and guided diagnostics. This saves time and reduces the need for outside support. Technicians also receive pre-job briefs with customer history and sales plans, helping them stay prepared and follow a consistent process from greeting to closing, creating a professional, impressive experience for every customer.

How long does it take for a recording to upload?

On the Field Pro mobile app, recordings upload almost immediately. For managers viewing them from the office, recordings are typically visible within 15–30 minutes. This timing can vary based on device capabilities and network speed.

Does Field Pro capture different languages?

Yes. The recordings can capture and process all major languages, including English, Spanish, and French. To enable this on the Field Pro app, go to Settings and turn on the Multi-language mode toggle.

Note: Bookmarks are supported only in English.

Can I make a phone call while I’m recording?

Field Pro will automatically pause recording if you take or make a phone call. The recording will automatically start again when you are done with your call.

My recordings from today haven’t been uploaded. What should I do?

Most recordings are transcribed and analyzed on mobile within minutes and are visible on the web within 30 minutes. 

There are a few steps that you need to follow: 

  • Exit and re-open the Field Pro app on a reliable Wi-Fi connection.

  • You may use other apps but do not hard exit out of Field Pro. This allows Field Pro to process and upload the recording in the background.

  • If the Field Pro app is running in the background, the upload happens automatically.
