Overview
Use Dispatcher Preferences on the new Daily and Weekly Dispatch Board to set job bubble appearance and view options. This allows you to choose the appointment details you want to see at a glance, making it easier to focus on the most relevant tasks. You can also decide whether to include weekends on your board.

Things to know
Job bubbles on the Dispatch Board show you useful, at-a-glance information about the appointment. This includes:
To manage jobs on the Dispatch Board, click a job appointment card and use the Job Details Flyout. You can also click More Actions
on a job appointment card to use the quick action menu.When you set your Dispatcher Preferences, it only changes your view.
Set job bubble appearance
At the top of the Dispatch Board, click Dispatcher Preferences
.On the screen that opens, click Job Bubble Appearance.
Select the information you want to see on job bubbles:
Job Information: Job Type or Project Name.
Customer Information: Customer Name or Location Name.
Location Information: Zip Code, Street Address, or City.
Use the Display Tags toggle to show or hide tags on job bubbles. When turned on, tags are visible. When turned off, tags are hidden. You can set up tags in Settings. For more, see Set up and prioritize tags for the Dispatch Board.

After you make a selection, your preferences are automatically saved.
Set jobs tray preferences
At the top of the Dispatch Board, click Dispatcher Preferences
.On the screen that opens, click Jobs Tray Preferences.
From the dropdown, select how many tags (up to 10) you want to display for each job before truncation.
Tip: To see all tags for a job, hover over the Tags column.

After you make a selection, your preferences are automatically saved.
Set jobs trays columns
At the top of the Dispatch Board, click Dispatcher Preferences.
On the screen that opens, click Jobs Tray Columns.
Select the items you want to see as columns in the Jobs Tray. To remove a column, deselect it.
Note: You can include up to 30 columns in the Jobs Tray.

To reorder the columns, drag items to your preferred location in the list.
After you make a selection, your preferences are automatically saved.
Set view options
You can customize your dispatch board view to fit your workflows.
At the top of the Dispatch Board, click Dispatcher Preferences
.On the screen that opens, click View Options.
Turn the following toggles on or off:
Include weekends: Display weekend days on the board to plan and manage technician schedules across the full week.
Keep Side Panel Open: Keep the side panel visible at all times for quick access to job details, notes, and technician information.
Show Technician Activity History: View recent technician activities, such as job status updates or schedule changes, directly from the board.
Tip: When the Show Technician Activity History option is turned on, the row appears on the board. Click the row to view job details in the flyout or go to the job screen.
Show job details on hover: Display job details when you hover over a job.
Show job details flyout: Open the Job Details flyout instead of the job record.
Show status filter: Display the technician status filters at the top of the Dispatch Board. To customize these statuses or change their order, go to the Technician Status Rows section in your Dispatcher Preferences.

Select your display preferences:
Side Panel Width: Adjust the width of the side panel to your preference by selecting Large (Default) or Medium.
Team Display Mode: Choose how team information is displayed:
Compact: Shows a condensed view for easier scanning.

Expanded: Displays full details for a more comprehensive team overview.

Board Display Mode: Select Compact or Expanded. This applies only to the daily board and the Holding Area.
Preferred Dispatch Board: Select your default board.
Note: You can switch boards at any time, but the board you select here opens by default when you go to Dispatch.

Set technician status row
Select the technician statuses you want to display at the top of the Dispatch Board. You can use these statuses to see how many technicians are in a specific status at a glance and to filter the board.
At the top of the Dispatch Board, click Dispatcher Preferences.
On the screen that opens, click Technician Status Row.
Select the technician statuses you want to see as filters.
