Overview
Save time scheduling and dispatching with the Job Details Flyout. It lets you quickly view and edit common job and appointment details directly from the Dispatch Board, without having to open the full Job Record separately. This simplifies job management while working from the Dispatch Board.

Things to know
- Changes made in the Job Details Flyout are automatically logged in the job audit trail.
- The Job Details Flyout gives you a snapshot of commonly used job and appointment details, such as tags, skills, and summaries. Click Go to Job Record at the top of the Job Details Flyout to open the full Job Record. From there, you can access images, email the customer, review the job audit trail, and look at other appointments on the job.
Note: You can choose to have the full Job Record open in a new tab or open in the current tab. To set this, go to Dispatch Configuration > Job Details Flyout.
- If you don't want to see or use the Job Details Flyout, you can turn it off by going to Dispatch Configuration > Board Appearance and then clicking No next to Show job details flyout.
Open the Job Details Flyout
- Go to the navigation bar and click Dispatch
. - On the Dispatch Board, click the appointment you want to view or edit job details for. The Job Details Flyout opens.

What you can do from the Job Details Flyout
- Call the customer: Click Call Customer
at the top of the Job Details Flyout and select the phone number for the Service Location or Bill To (Customer Record) to place an outbound call to the customer.
For example, a technician tells you they're close to finishing their current job appointment and they'd like to go to the next one early. Call the customer to confirm an earlier appointment time.Note: If phone notifications are disabled for all phone numbers on file for the customer and location, the Call Customer icon and phone numbers aren't displayed on the Job Details Flyout. The Job Details Flyout displays each phone number that has notifications enabled, in the order they were added to the Customer or Location Record. Account configuration is required to set notification preferences for customers. Please contact Technical Support for details.

- Open the full Job Record: Click Go to Job Record at the top of the Job Details Flyout to open the full Job Record.
Note: You can choose to have the full Job Record open in a new tab or open in the current tab. To set this, go to Dispatch Configuration > Job Details Flyout.

- Refresh your view: Click Refresh
at the top of the Job Details Flyout to refresh any changes made to the Customer or Location Record, such as updated notification preferences.
- Open the Customer and Location Record: Click the Customer Name to open the Customer Record in a new tab. Click the Location Name to open the Location Record in a new tab.

- Open the service location in Google Maps: Click the Service Address to open it in Google Maps in a new tab.

- View job appointment details: Below the service location address, you can view key details about the job appointment, such as:
- The appointment number
- The status of the appointment
- The appointment start date
- The appointment arrival window (if your office uses arrival windows)
- The start time for the appointment
- The duration of the appointment
- The technicians assigned to the appointment

- Open the invoice: Click the Invoice Number in the Additional Information section at the bottom of the Job Details Flyout to open the invoice that's linked to the job in a new tab.

Edit job details from the Job Details Flyout
- Click Edit
at the top of the Job Details Flyout to update the Job Type, Priority, Bill To, and Service Location.
- Click More
next to the appointment number and then select an option to update the assignment or status of the job appointment.
For example, if you need to assign a new technician to the job, click Assign/Unassign.
- Click Edit
in the Job Overview section next to Job Tags, Skills, and Job Summary to update each field.
For example, you need to update the tags for a job based on some new information you just received.
