Setup

Before starting your Property Care business, ensure you have the following basics configured for your account.

Ensure customer information is properly set up to schedule jobs for the correct addresses.

Set up and use Zones

Defines the areas where jobs can be booked.

Create and edit Recurring service types

Configure recurring service types to generate appointments.

Manage tags

Use proper tags to filter out jobs on the Route map.

Add and edit business units

Set up business units to use Routing properly.

Required permissions

The View Dispatch Board permission is required for office employees to access Route Management. Contact your account administrator to enable it.

Routing customers

New customer addresses are automatically verified to generate GPS coordinates, ensuring locations display correctly on maps.

A zone is a group of zip codes. Zones are generally used for organizational purposes. By setting up Zones in ServiceTitan, a color coded system will be created to help you organize jobs in certain locations both on the Dispatch Board and the Schedule Page. You may refer to zones as service areas within your business.
