Manage Marketing Pro Contacts

Overview

A Contact represents a Marketing Pro Customer, Lead, or prospect. You can find the list of all Accounts or Customers receiving your marketing campaigns by going to the Contacts section.

Marketing Customer accounts are broken down into two primary categories:

       
  • Residential
  •    
  • Commercial

Each category is broken down into two further subcategories:

       
  • Single Location Accounts
  •    
  • Multi-Location Accounts.

  • Marketing managers, business owners, and other marketers on your team

  • Primarily for Commercial Service & Replacement and Residential Service & Replacement business types.

Things to know

       
  • You can't add or remove anyone from the Contacts list.
  •    
  • You can't edit the data associated with any of these marketing Customer accounts.

Contacts Page Overview

To view all Contacts, go to Marketing Pro > Contacts.

The Residential or Commercial tab opens. This depends on which tab includes the larger number of Contact Records. The same concept applies on the Single Location and Multi-Location tabs.

In Contacts, you can:

       
  • View Accounts by type
  •    
  • View Accounts by organization type
  •    
  • View Accounts by account stage
  •    
  • Adjust your view of the Customers or Leads table
  •    
  • Sort columns
  •    
  • Search for an Account
  •    
  • Export Contact's tables
  •    
  • View Contacts' breakdown
  •    
  • View Customer details

View Accounts by type

You can find two types of accounts in the Contacts section:

       
  • Residential: Residential Contacts are individuals who use services for personal or household use.
  •    
  • Commercial: Commercial Contacts are businesses or organizations that use services to generate revenue.

Use the tabs at the top to define which account types you want to look at.

View Accounts by organization type

Residential and Commercial Customers are also divided to sub-categories, where Contacts are organized into the following categories:

       
  • Customers who have one service location address.
  •    
  • Customers who have more than a single location address where they want to receive services.

The Single Location or Multi-Location tab opens depending on which tab includes more Contact Records.

Click the Single Location tab to view Customers and Leads with a single location. To view Customers with multiple locations, click Multi-Location.

View Accounts by account stage

On the Contacts screen, accounts are broken into two different tables depending on where they are in the sales lifecycle:

       
  1. If an account has historic conversions, sales, or services, then it appears in the Customers table.
  2.    
  3. If an account is a prospect (has not converted historically) it appears in the Leads table.

Customize your view of the Customers or Leads table

The Customers and Leads tables include basic information about the Customer's account, email, email status, phone number, mailing address, date added, and details. You can add and remove columns in the table to adjust how you see the information.

To add and remove additional columns:

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Contacts.
  2.    
  3. On the Contacts screen, click Edit Columns.
  4.    
  5. In the Edit Columns pop-up that opens, select the columns you want to see in the table. The Customers and Leads columns are selected by default and you can't remove them. To remove a column, uncheck it. You can also organize the columns' order in the table by using the drag-and-drop tool.

  7. Click Apply to save your selection. You can always restore the default selections by clicking Reset Defaults.

The newly added columns appear in the Customers and Leads table.

Sort columns

Click a column header to organize the table by that column in ascending order. Click it again to reverse the order.

Search for an Account

You can only search for Customers by name or Account number. Search results appear in the table below.

Export Contact's tables

To download the Customers or Leads data as a CSV file:

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Contacts.
  2.    
  3. Go to the table that contains the data you want to export.
  4.    
  5. Click Export.
   

Note: Your download shows the same information as your table organized similarly.

View Contacts' breakdown

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Contacts.
  2.    
  3. On the Contacts screen, click Show Breakdown.The Breakdown screen opens to view the details of the Contacts and their breakdown.

View Customer details

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Contacts.
  2.    
  3. On the Contacts screen, find the account whose account details you want to view.
  4.    
  5. Hover over the account name and click it. The Customer Detail screen opens.
