What is causing us to be unable to add specific membership type to our customers' accounts?

Problem

You can't add a membership type to customer accounts. The sale task for this membership type is not setup.

Solution

Follow these steps to add the missing sale task and enable the addition of the membership type to customer profiles.

Add membership sale task

1. Go to Settings > Invoicing > Membership Types.

2. Find the membership type that you are trying to sell to your customer and click Edit.

3. Click on Billing.

4. Select New Sale Task.

5. Add the sale task and the renewal task for the membership.

6. Save your changes.

After completing these steps, try adding the membership package to a customer's account again. It should work now.
