Problem
After editing membership invoice template prices and hitting save, the changes do not save. Instead, the prices revert to the original numbers.
Solution
There are a few reasons why this issue could happen: a glitch, fixable by clearing your cache, or the membership settings, which may need to be updated.
Check if it's a glitch
Try first to clear your browser's cache and cookies. Check if the issue is resolved by trying to edit the price again.
Check your membership settings
If the membership is set on deferred revenue, you need to check the membership type settings:
Go to Settings
> Invoicing > Membership Types.Edit the membership type where the issue is occurring.
Go to Recurrences > Revenue Recognition.
Check if the question Do you want ServiceTitan to calculate deferred revenue for you automatically? has the answer Yes, calculate automatically.
If it does, ServiceTitan calculates the amount on the invoice templates based on a formula. Although the system will save the manually inputted price for a moment, it will automatically recalculate the amount so that the deferred balance is recognized accurately. That is why the price is recalculated back to the original price.
If it's set to No, I will calculate manually, then you should be able to manually input the price. Contact Technical Support for further assistance.
