Use Template Manager for invoices in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

Overview

If your office uses Template Manager, you can select and apply templates for invoices in the Field Mobile App. You can also preview generated invoice PDFs and send them through email. This helps ensure you send accurate, branded paperwork on every job.

Use cases

  • As a technician, you work for a residential or commercial business that has customers who require a specific template for invoices.

Present an invoice using Template Manager in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Work Summary tab.

  2. On the screen that opens, scroll to the Share Invoice section and tap Present.Invoice summary showing total, paid amount, and balance with share options available.

    Note: Tap Quick View to see everything listed on the invoice.

  3. After you tap Present, select the template you want to use then tap Present.

    Note: If your office has set up a global default for Template Manager, a default template is preselected for you.

    Tip: On the preview that opens, you can tap Mail to email the invoice to the customer. This takes you to the Email Invoice screen where you can tap Send to email it. Invoice showing maintenance details for Bello Italian Restaurant with email icon highlighted.

Email an invoice using Template Manager in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Work Summary tab.

  2. On the screen that opens, scroll to the Share Invoice section and tap EmailInvoice summary showing total, paid amount, and balance with share options available.

    Note: Tap Quick View to see everything listed on the invoice.

  3. After you tap Email, select the template you want to use then tap Present to preview the invoice and present it to the customer.

    Note: If your office has set up a global default for Template Manager, a default template is preselected for you.

    Note: If you want to send this invoice to additional email addresses, tap Add contacts and add them there.
