Problem
Sometimes you need to move a sold estimate to a different job or day. There isn't a direct unsell option. The Unsell button isn't available.
Solution
You can move a sold estimate to a different job or day without an Unsell button.
Delete a sold estimate
To avoid double booking of jobs and reporting issues, do not duplicate an estimate if it's already booked into another job. Instead, delete sold estimates on the Invoice section so that it reopens the original estimate to be booked into a new job or another job.
Go to the job that has the sold estimate you want to move.
Go to the invoice of the job.
Click X to remove tasks that were on sold estimates.
On the pop-up window that opens, click Yes.
Go to the Estimates section and find the original estimate.
Duplicate an estimate
Note: Duplicate an estimate only if the original job is exported.
Go to the job that has the sold estimate you want to move.
Find the estimate you need to duplicate.
Click Duplicate Estimate. This creates a new estimate with the same information but in an Open status.
After duplicating the estimate, go to the invoice of the job.
Scroll to the bottom to find the original sold estimate.
Click X to the right of the sold estimate to delete the original estimate.
Sell the new estimate for the separate job or day you want.
