Overview
Use the Teams Management screen to organize technicians and teams on your Dispatch Board in the way that works best for your business. This helps reduce confusion about team assignments and increase operational efficiency.
Who uses this feature
Administrators
Primarily for Residential Service and Replacement business types

Feature configuration
The Edit teams permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Things to know
By default, only Admin and Owner roles can use Teams Management. Other office roles can view Teams Management but aren't able to make changes. If you want to allow other employees to use Teams Management, enable the Edit teams permission in Settings
> People > Role Permissions > Edit. For more, see Set permissions for an employee or technician role. Note: Make sure only the employees you want to have access to this feature have the permission enabled. You can also use the audit trail to check what changes were made.
Any time you make and save changes in Teams Management, click Sync
on the Dispatch Board to refresh it and see the updates.
Use cases
You want to order your Dispatch Board based on who will get jobs first so you rearrange the order of your technicians in each team.
New technicians are onboarding to the company. As a dispatcher, you need to add them to the team they will be working on.
Open Teams Management
Go to the top toolbar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to Dispatch Board > Teams Management.
Note: When Teams Management is enabled, you can only create teams on the Teams Management screen. You can assign technicians to teams in Teams Management and also in technician profiles. The tooltip in technician profiles tells you where to go to create and edit teams.

Reorder teams
To reorder the way teams appear on your Dispatch Board:
On the Active teams tab in Teams Management, click Move
next to the team you want to reorder.In the menu that opens, select one of the following options:
Move Up

Move Down

Move to top of list

Move to bottom of list

Click Save to save your changes.
Tip: You can also make bulk changes. Select the teams you want to reorder as a group and then click Move up

and select Move to top of list
or Move to bottom of list

Reorder technicians within a team
To reorder the way technicians appear within teams on your Dispatch Board:
On the Active teams tab in Teams Management, click Expand
next to the team in which you want to reorder technicians.Click Move
next to the technician you want to reorder.In the menu that opens, select one of the following options:
Move Up

Move Down

Move to top of list

Move to bottom of list

Click Save to save your changes.
Tip: You can also make bulk changes. Select the technicians you want to reorder as a group and then click Move up

Move a technician from one team to another
On the Active teams tab in Teams Management, click Expand
next to the team you want to move a technician from.Click Move
next to the technician you want to move to another team.In the menu that opens, click Select another team
.
Tip: You can also make bulk changes. Select the technicians you want to move as a group, click More
, and then click Select another team
.
Add unassigned technicians to an existing team
On the Active teams tab in Teams Management, click Expand
next to No team assigned.Select the technician or technicians you want to add to an existing team.
At the top of the screen, click More
.In the menu that opens, click Select another team
. 
In the dropdown that opens, search for and select the team that you want to add the selected technician or technicians to.
Click Save to save your changes.
Remove a technician from a team
On the Active teams tab in Teams Management, click Expand
next to the team you want to remove a technician from.In the menu that opens, click Remove
next to the technician you want to remove from the team. 
Click Save to save your changes.
Tip: You can also make bulk changes. Select the technicians you want to remove as a group, click More
, and then click Remove from team.
